Drew from AMD called within one day of my contacting him by email. He came to assess the cost one day later, and mailed me a fair estimate two days after that. It took me a week or two to make the decision to hire him; once I did, he scheduled the project within a week.

His team cleared and leveled a great deal of debris (including tree roots and large pieces of concrete), before laying blacktop in the configuration I asked for. The job is beautiful, and I am completely satisfied.

Drew and the team are friendly and easy to work with. They listened to what I wanted and were precise in the delivery. I will be hiring them to seal my beautiful new driveway within the next few months.

Although they were very professional on the phone and arrived to perform the job as scheduled the problem was with the quality of their service. Although they said they could not fill the cracks completely level before they began the job the cracks were far from completely and consistently filled after they completed the job the first time. I complained and they did come pack and refill the cracks and the results were much better. About a week later I purchased latex filler and pourable crack filler from a hardware store and I was able to fill the cracks completely level and it now looks great so I do not believe their assertion was accurate.
What really disappointed me the most with the quality of their work was that when they applied sealant they splashed black sealant on my brickwork near the garage door, on my white garage door, and on my concrete sidewalk. I would have thought that they should have placed a piece of plywood or heavy cardboard to protect these items from splash damage but they did not do so. They came out (Drew) and acknowledged the splash damage but said they could not fix the splash damage without making it worse from an appearance perspective. I would not use AMD blacktop again because of the poor quality of their work and they are not careful in their work.

They were on time and they were prepared. Their contract was very clear and there was no doubt in my mind about what I would be getting. They gave me three contracts to look at for different types of work if I didn't want to spend as much as I did. They were efficient, professional, and it looks great! I've gotten many compliments on the driveway.

I called AMD Paving and within 1 hour I got a call from Drew Stickley whoo took my information and provided me a very reasonable estimate to pave my drivew on the same day! I was able to get my new driveway the day after the rain stopped. They did a fantastic job! Drew, Troy and crew were extremely professional, on time, took into consideration my crazy schedule and gave me what I needed for my driveway at a prices I could afford!!!
I would recommend anyone and will recommend AMD Paving to ALL of my firends and colleagues!
This was also my first experience using an Angie's List recommended contractor and as a home owner I will be an Angie's List member for life!

They were very professional.

Excellent. The crew arrived mid-morning, as they said they would. The contractor had a complete set of equipment to install blacktop paving: Delivery truck for raw material, a furnace to melt the material, a machine to apply the hot material, and a roller to flatten the material. There was a crew of 4 or 5 workmen who did the initial spreading and leveling of the material before the roller flattened it. The crew worked very quickly and very efficiently. The asphalt was completely applied and all the equipment was off the site at mid-afternoon, about 6 hours after the start of work. I was informed that I would be able to drive my car on the driveway by next morning, and not to drive on it before then. I have had no problems since the application, and the quality of work appears to be excellent.

They evened out the driveway down to the sidewalk.

Mark and his crew were very professional and the job was well done. We were not home when his crew came out and our son was home. Instead of coming in for payment after the job, Mark called to let us know that the job was completed and that we could mail him the check which we did the next business day. Our driveway looked great despite the oppressed 97 degree heat that day.

The workmen were on time, the job was beautifully done. The crew cleaned up all debris. I was satisfied with the job.
