Global Decorator Inc. did a great job.  I had purchased a deal with a different vendor, but they couldn't get me scheduled anywhere close to the timeframe I needed.  Angie's List helped me find a deal with Global and they came out THE VERY NEXT DAY!  Everyone I spoke to  and the two gentlemen who came out were friendly and very responsive.  My deal was for 4 hours for two guys.  I had a lot of work to be done and just told them to do what they could.  I have to say they really went at it.  Turned out more coats were needed than I had planned on and Steve pratically begged me to let him do more so it would look as good as possible.  They did such a good job and so quickly that I kept them for a few more hours to do try and get everything on my list done - and they did!  They also cleaned up so well you would never have known they were there - except for the fabulous paint job they did.
They are new to Angie's list and this was my very first experience with Angie's List.  It was a great experience all around and I highly recommend Global Decorator to anyone who needs painting done.  Friendly, efficient and great work!  If I ever need painting services again they will be my first call.

Mr. Harris was very professional as well as his assistant.  They worked the whoile time not wasting a minute.  I was very, very pleased with my Masterbathroom.  Spare bathroom would have been very pleaseing but the area behind toilet was missed.  I would definetly use again.

It went extremely well! The men work quickly, they were very professional, and they did the job perfectly----there's not one streak where it doesn't belong! We were really worried about getting paint on our new hardwood floors, but made sure that the hardwood floors were protected. I will definitely be using them again.

I chose this big deal becaue we did not cash in a previous big deal that was purchased last year. It was with the assistance of an Angies List rep who was so very helpful with the whole process. John the owner came out with the young man named Anthony who was going to do the work for us. EXTREMELY professoinal. John stated the deal I purchased which was for one painter for 8 hours was not going to get the whole job completed so I chose to get the whole job done buy adding a second painter for an additional $400.00. Was it ever worth it!
The day the work was accomplished Anthony and one other painter, who by the way was his brother Rob, showed up as promised on time and ready to work. I'll admit that I did some of the normal prep that they would do like moving the furniture and removing all the switch plates and grilles. They immediately laid out the tarps to protect the floors and jumped right in on the painting. I was watching the whole time which makes many contractors nervous but they did not seem to mind and we actually had a great conversation. As I watched, we talked about how hard it was for me to do cut in. Anthony said it takes a little practice but one can learn if you do it enough. He was quite the steady hand and the lines are flawless. The hardest part was the foyer as it is 15 feet tall and is a small space where you either have to go up to the main floor or down to the basement. These guys made it look easy.
The first coat was done in short order and by the time they finished they went back to the beginning to start the second coat. The whole time that one was doing the rolling the other was cutting in around doors and the window. I was not expecting it but John showed up to make sure things were going smooth which showed me that he was concerned about the quality of the work I was getting. Did I say extremely professional? I was going to do the ceiling myself but he stated the obvious that we had the guys there and lets just do it. I didn't have the ceiling paint but John said not to worry he had it and would provide it to me inclusive of the cost I had already paid. He went got the ceiling paint and brother was that the best decision I have made in a while. It made the room look crisp and new. Additionally, they made all the doors and trim look like new.
When the job was complete, they cleaned up their gear and swept all the floors. Anthony did a walk around with me and asked if everything was OK. My actual comment had something to do with a bear and the woods if you get my meaning. I was extremely, extremely happy and thanked them profusely for the great job they did. When they left I sat and admired their work. The greatest compliment I could give them right now is that when my wife got home she smiled from ear to ear and said they did a great job which is quite an accomplishment impressing miss picky. (NO FOOL, not Miss Piggy!) 
One more thing to show the absolute commitment to the job they do, John's wife Dee, called me to see if I was happy, no, i did not use the bear in the woods comment, I told her it was beyond my expectations from start to finish. She then  asked to come by and check it out for herself which blew me away. Where do you get this kind of service these days? She came over inspected the job and once again asked me if I was happy. I told her absolutely and we talked for a little while. She asked me if I would use them again. I told her in less than a half a heartbeat without any doubt what so ever.
People, when I get good service I like to tell everyone so let me say this, If you need painting work or a variety of other jobs done and you don't give them a chance, you are doing a serious disservice to yourself.

Showed up on time and covered all carpet and floor areas. Owner was training a new painter so it took longer then 2 hours but I was not charged any additional money. I did have to touch up some areas around the door moldings but other then that did a good job.

Found the provider via Angies List Deal of the Day. $200 for 4 hrs of painting. Purchased it and waited to get a response from the provider for scheduling. Didn't hear anything after 1 week so I called. Upon calling and speaking with the owner of the company it appeared he had no idea that I even purchased his service. He explained he and his company was new to Angie's list and was still learning the process. No big deal,  it's understandable, we discussed what I wanted to have done, what rooms I wanted painted, the paint,  height of the ceilings, sheen etc. I explained I wanted both the living room walls and staircase hallway painted,  to include minor repair work for picture holes, and trim work. I explained the ceiling in the living room had jus been painted but we did want the hallway ceiling painted. To sum it up we spoke in detail about what was to be done and everything was goo to go. At first I thought it was odd for no one to come do a quick estimate before the work began but I figured that maybe they had all the info he needed.
On the day the service was to be performed two painters arrived and we spoke about the job to be done. There seemed to be a great deal of miscommunication from what I spoke to the owner about having done and the instructions the painters were given. Once that issued was addressed, they then advised me that in order to do the job it would take approx 6hrs. because of dry time of repair work, several coats of paint to cover up the current paint and trim work.  It would have made a lot more since for someone to come out to the house prior and a**** before hand so I would have an idea of the extra time and extra paint needed. The owner via telephone, quoted me the labor rate and I was still good to go. Ok no problem since I purchased 4hrs I had no problem paying for the additional 2hrs. if it means getting it done right. 
However, the owner advised that because he sent 2 painters that my deal was only good for 2hrs and not 4hrs as advertised. This is where I stopped everything, and advised him that his advertisement stated $200 for four labor hours and stated no clause about hours being contingent on the number of painters. He stated he would have to talk to Angies list about that not being in the ad. However that's not my problem. I understand that some ads do have that clause which is understandable, but it's right there in the ad's fine print. His ad did not have that clause, and I don't think it is an "Angie's List" error I think the error lies on the owner if he forgot to include that.
So I declined to have them start any work and cancelled. 
On a positive note the two painters that arrived were professional and courteous and they did arrive right on time.
The worst part is we were hoping to have the two rooms painted for a graduation party for my son this weekend, but instead Im sitting here ,out of a day at work,in a bare living room (moved and took everything down for paint) trying to figure out how to go about getting a refund from this ordeal.

The owner was really on top of things before, during, and after. I also extended the contract for additional work while they were here. I actually recommended them to a neighbor. The painting and the trim was just excellent. They worked with us to make sure that we got exactly what we wanted. We will be calling them back again for more work.

From start to finish, Global Decorators, Inc. was a dream to work with! Johnny Harris, the owner of the company, personally answered my call, and came on that same day. Besides impressing me with his promptness, it was clear that Johnny was a consummate professional. He was extremely knowledgable about what needed to be done and what I could expect when his crew finished the job. He gave me a bid the following day - offered to do much more than his competitors, for a better price, and was able to start 4 days later. The job took an extremely careful, hard-working, totally competent 4-person crew five 8:00-5:00 days to complete. During the process, the crew worked seamlessly together, tackling every inch of the area with precision. Each evening when they closed down, they left their materials neat and tidy so that my husband and I could easily live in our home - it never took on the feeling of a work zone - That was mind-boggling to me! Our 14-year old home looks like a brand new model home thanks to the wonderful team at Global Interiors, Inc. I highly recommend Global Interiors, Inc. to make your home look picture perfect!
