Elite responded promptly to my Angie's List post, and sent out a technician the same day. John, the technician, provided a thorough analysis of what was wrong with my door, and gave me three repair options to choose from. The other 2 companies to give me bids only spoke of the immediate problem with the door, not taking into account that the system operating it was over 20 years old. Had I chosen either of them, my door would have been operational, but because of its age, would no doubt be in need of additional service a few years down the road. While Elite's bid was the highest, I feel confident that I made the best choice in hiring them to repair my garage door. Not only was John professional, polite, and punctual, he very patiently explained the purpose and function of all the new hardware he installed, as well as how to keep the garage door opening and closing smoothly for years to come. And Elite's 10-year warranty was also a key selling point. All in all, I would highly recommend this company to anyone in need of this type of service. And I commend Elite for hiring quality employees like John. I couldn't be happier with the work he did.

It went well. The installer did a excellent job and spent time with us to make sure we didn't have any questions.

My primary complaint is cost and not service. The service provided was very good. Precision Garage Doors were able to come out promptly on the next day (Saturday) after I called them at 4pm on a Friday. The technician replaced the torsion springs and even repaired a few minor items on our garage doors at no additional charge. The technician was friendly and seemed knowledgeable. That being said, the price that they charged for the torsion spring parts. The labor charges seemed reasonable, but they wanted to charge $250 for *each* torsion spring. I could not find online anywhere where a torsion spring cost more than about half of that ($125). When asked why these torsion springs cost so much, the technician was sort of vague. In following up with the company, I generally got the run-around. They could not provide the manufacturer's part number, and the manufacturer that they use only sells wholesale and will not disclose the price that they charge. No one could really justify the outrageous price that they were charging for the parts, but I needed my garage door fixed as soon as possible, and I didn't have time that weekend to fix it myself due to other obligations. Overall, if you want the problem fixed promptly and properly, and don't mind spending a lot of money, then Precision Garage Doors will do the job for you. If you are handy enough to install torsion springs yourself, you would save a ton of money.

He came on time, had correct parts, took about an hour without any problems. very satisfied, excellent workmanship.

A spring on my garage door unexpectedly broke, and Precision was able to fit me in for same day service. The technician came out that afternoon, explained exactly what happened to me, and went over what it would take to do the repair. He then fixed everything very quickly, including making sure my garage door was in a good state overall. I would absolutely recommend this company and will most definitely continue to use them.

The technician was very knowledgeable, professional and personable. Replacement turned out to be necessary. The initial visit was free and resulted in a written estimate with 3 options. The replacement installation visit had some scheduling snafus and poor communication from the central office but the actual work seems to be very good.

This was a while back but the guy who came to replace the spring was very courteous and professional. I would hire them again if needed. The garage door has been fine since the repair.

The men arrived a bit late but immediately got to work and almost instantly diagnosed the problem, knew the fix, explained what was required and gave me the price using a discount when I asked. They were professional, knowledgeable, helpful and pleasant. Not only did they resolve the problem, they did preventive maintenance by tightening hardware and lubricating the track. They also did maintenance on the second door, too. Very pleased!

James Q. gave us our initial quote and was helpful and professional. Derrick E. did the install and haul away. He removed both of our battered old garage doors and the old chain openers. He put up the new, insulated doors, added new weather stripping, and mounted the new belt drive openers. He cleaned up everything and was also great throughout. It took all day but it was worth the time and the investment. Garage is probably 12 degrees warmer now than before and the new openers are very quiet.

The garage door motor arm which connects to the garage door broke off and therefore the garage door could not open and close by way of the garage door motor. The technician retrofitted the damaged piece of the connecting arm on the garage door with a very sturdy metal bar which he then connected to the corresponding motor. Worked like a charm.

OUTSTANDING!! THIS WAS NOT AN EASY JOB, THE BUILDING IS OVER 100 YRS., EVERYTHING WAS OUT OF PLUM, IT WAS CHALLENGING FOR THE WORKMAN WHO DID AN EXCEPTIONAL JOB. LOVE IT!!!!

Rick is the best! Called to say he was on his way and tried to walk me through self repair to save me $$$. What company does that? When he got to the house he explained what he was doing with the repair and what potential issues I could have with my 16yr old motor and what to do before calling for service next time. Very professional. Would / will use again.

Technician was on time, excellent, knowledgeable, easy to work with. Top shelf guy. The price for parts, however, was astronomical. Example; Price for a Liftmaster 8355 door opener was $750 just for the parts, not including installation. Competitors price for next higher model, installed: $475. The tech asked me if I wanted a new center post lift bracket installed; $125 for the part. I declined and checked on Amazon afterward. Price with delivery: $30. So if maintenance is all you need, Precision is ok. If you need a new opener, rollers, etc., recommend doing your homework and buying parts elsewhere first.

They did a great job. They are prompt, efficient, and professional. I have used them before and I will use them again. I would highly recommend them.

Came out quickly on a Sunday which was a big surprise. I was sure our cars would be stuck in the garage for days. But, the tech was concerned about us getting out so made sure to get the repair done right away. We were very impressed with the professionalism.

Quick and easy. Rick was awesome. Offered to repair the old one first, but it did not seem worth taking a chance based on the age of the opener.

Our installer was Doug. He was absolutely fantastic. He was extremely meticulous and professional about his work. He took his time to make sure that everything was as perfect as he could make it. We were absolutely thrilled about how the doors look. We would not hesitate to use Precision Garage Doors again.

Everything, from the initial meeting with the sales rep to the final installation, left me completely satisfied. The installation was surprisingly quick. The installation tech, Marcus, made the whole job seem like a walk in the park. Marcus was extremely professional and he handled my 4-year old's inquisitive nature with ease as I was unable to keep him out of the way from time to time. I was blown away with the quality of the product and attention to detail that Marcus showed with every component. Even the final walk-through with Marcus was very thorough, as he explained the need for routine maintenance (roller lubrication) and the basics of the garage door openers.
