I almost didn?t choose Excel to build my deck but I am SO glad that I did. The other company we were considering was only $100 cheaper than Excel?s price but I didn?t feel as comfortable with them during the estimate. When the other companies came out it felt rushed and they were so pushy and wanted me to sign a contract that day. But when Charlie came out I didn?t feel pressured at all and he never tried to push a contract on me. I did receive a follow up call from Excel the next day just asking how my appointment went, which was nice, but it wasn?t a sales call. I never heard from the other companies that gave me estimates after the day we met.
What swayed me towards Excel was their material options and how they gave me time to look over their proposal and make a decision without pressuring me. I really appreciated that. I also got the feeling that they would do a good job and I was not disappointed. The crew was always on time and were very polite. I came outside while they were working multiple times and they never seemed annoyed with me and answered all my questions. The deck turned out perfectly and I will be sure to call them once I?m ready to put a fence up. All-n-all, great experience, great company. The extra $100 was WELL worth it!
