DUNN'S FLOOR COVERING

Looked great upon walk thru. In the first week of living in our new home there was visible wear and tear on our Shaw Advantage solid 3/4 inch oak hardwood floors. I contacted Dunn's Floor Covering after 90 days left multiple messages with our concerns of chipping, gaps, movement, scratches and simple wear. A Dunn's field person came in January and said it was my dogs and we had been in house 8 months. Really we had been in house 6 months and I have 2 Chihuahuas and two 50 lb American bull dogs. So upgraded hardwoods only last 6-8 months and can not withstand small and medium dogs? I was never provided a report. At 8 months we had Charles F, Dunn Senior Vice President of Sales come to evaluate our floors. Mr. Dunn said the floors had not failed. It again was our pets and that the floors have 7 COATS OF POLYURETHANE! He wrote in his report "the vast majority of damaged boards were caused by our dogs and possibly movers. Mr. Dunn ended with, as I stated to you your issue is with hardwood not meeting your EXPECTATIONS with scratches and dents not with Dunn's installation. My advise is if you have any EXPECTATIONS of quality and durability in new hardwoods go elsewhere.
