The service was excellent, it was good, they came and did the cleaning, protected everything and checked everything out and made sure that everything is working fine. They were a good company to work with, as we are a repeat customer of theirs.

I cannot begin to say how pleased I am with Day or Night. They did work on my primary and rental homes. My rental property needed several plumbing repairs after a tenant change and Day or Night was quick to get in and make the necessary repairs. Jerry did an excellent job getting everything replaced and working correctly. In my primary home I had a fireplace designed and installed. Liz, the designer was INCREDIBLY knowledgeable about design, different fireplace models and more importantly about safety working with gas. The other businesses I considered didn’t seem to care about permits and inspections and seem to expect me to be ok with that. I have children and need to make sure they will be safe. The installation went well without difficulties and we are all loving the new fireplace. These people are experts and know what they are doing.

They were efficient, showed me how to work it, and did an excellent job on the mantel as well. I would definitely hire them again and I would highly recommend them.

The work went very well, it was smooth. responsiveness and the workers were very professional, thoughtful and personable. The price was fair.

It went very well and I am very pleased with how it turned out. They were very professional, knowledgeable, and practiced safe distancing during the Covid time we were in. You wouldn't even know it was an electric fireplace. I would highly recommend them and I would definitely hire them again.

Very good, they were on time, very professional, they laid down fabric on the floors so it wouldn't dirty our carpets and I'm impressed with their service.

Stay away from this company at all costs. They did absolutely NOTHING right on this job and it took almost two months to complete the install (after the parts had arrived). For a company that prides itself on customer service and coordinating with all other parties to get the job done, they provided the absolute worst customer service I've ever received - and I've been dealing with businesses for almost 40 years. The installers were top-notch, but the owner and saleswoman were totally worthless and didn't care at all that they were constant screw-ups. The saleswoman lied, denying things she said to me, even though I had them in writing; she and the owner didn't care. Don't let them do this to you. They have no right to be in business.

Wrong diagnosis. We paid for the part, it was installed, didn’t work. They refused to give us a refund. Receptionist very rude, sales people were nice.

Worked well for over a year but it’s kind of soon for an expensive part to need to be replaced and me have to spend another $700 after just 2 years

Antoine the tech Day and Night sent arrived on time and could not have more professional and nicer to deal with. He took his time answered all my questions and did a wonderful job. I will gladly welcome him back next into our home. Bottom-line I you need to have your fireplace log set serviced, replaced, or installed go no further than Day and Night.

Their technician visited and looked at the unit and said he will order parts. Then called back after the visit for us to identify the unit as he didn't know the model after having looked at it. Then offered to come back again to look at the unit if we paid for the visit. We said thanks but no thanks as they should have captured all of that information during the first visit. Owner was rude and not willing to accept their technician's mistake despite having been provided call details.

They are responsive and managed the product from end-to-end very well.

Better than expected. They kept up informed at all times. All aspects of the job were explained to us and they answered all of our questions in great detail. They thought they were going to have to put holes in walls in the upper floors but were able to install the unit without doing that. They were neat, clean, efficient, punctual and did a wonderful job!

The tech, as always, was on time, effective, friendly, and professional. He happy to answer questions about the work and the condition of the pellet stove. He made adjustments to the mechanical components as needed to keep the stove running smoothly and the stove and flue connection clean and ready to go.

Very friendly and knowledgeable salesman. The installers (pellet insert) left some sharp metal pieces in the rear yard but they seemed to know what they were doing and this part of my experience I'd rate as B (cost was a bit high). The second part was the bathroom. They did a pretty good job on the tiles EXCEPT they did not round the corners on the toilet flange so there was a corner cut totally visible under the seated toilet. Also - really sloppy with the grout. Didn't put enough in there the first time. AND they stopped short of the threshold an entire 5.5" - didn't even ask me about my threashold insert size - just took the easy route. BUT same nice salesman came and fixed the toilet (he got a special flange and reset the toilet to more fully cover the gaping corner, filled in the grout completely, and specially ordered a 5.5" custom threshold and installed it for free. This did take quite a bit of effort to get this addressed. Don't use them for tiling anything. Plumbing and installing fixtures was perfect though.

All of the technicians have been the most polite and professional service people who have EVER entered our house!

After the cleaning, the technician said everything was working properly and the stove was in good working order. When I went to turn the stove for the first time, it would not start. There was a vacuum seal error displaying. The company said they would send out their "best technician" to see what the problem was. He said it was the main power board, and but he could not be sure. I was given a repair estimate of about $650, with no guarantee that replacing the main power board would fix the problem. I called the person who originally installed the stove to diagnosis it. He found no problem with the main power board. The t-trap was completely full. The flue had not been cleaned. A bracket inside the stove had been put on backwards. The vacuum sensor had been left unattached. In short, the original technician had not properly cleaned the unit. The "best" technician did not notice, or failed to disclose, that the flue had not been cleaned and that the t-trap was full. The flue had to be cleaned and a gasket replaced on the main door. The unit works perfectly now. I sent Day or Night Home and Hearth pictures, including the full t-trap and the soot that fell out of the flue, along with an explanation of the original installer's findings. I asked for my original cleaning fee back. It's been over 2 weeks and I've heard nothing.

The price seemed high, but the work was done, pretty much on schedule. Fabricated trim took longer than we hoped and caused the delays. The rough brick original exterior presented some challenges and the results were a bit disappointing - we're still missing some of the mortar. As for professionalism, they really push an extended service contract to lower the price and possible number of future service calls. We didn't think that should be necessary with such a highly touted and expensive insert.

This review is long overdue!  We hired Day or Night about 18 months ago to remove a wood fireplace in our new house and install a contemporary style 60-inch linear gas fireplace that we purchased through Day or Night.  It was a complicated job schedule-wise because it required coordinating with several other contractors.  Pam handled all of the scheduling, permits, etc., with ease and was flexible with rescheduling a few times to work around other contractor constraints.  And Sam, who did our installation, was fantastic.  We've enjoyed our beautiful fireplace for two winters now and it's one of the best features of our new house.

Day or Night did an excellent job!  My gas fireplace, which I hadn't cleaned in 11 years, looks and functions like new!  The two technicians were prompt, professional and friendly.  They arrived within the two-hour service window and worked quickly.  I'll call this company to maintain my fireplace next year.
