They were very responsive and professional. When they experienced obstacles for running the line from the propane tank to the log set in the fireplace, the technician took photos and called the office. They rescheduled and two technicians returned on a different day to run the line and install the log set in the most effective way possible, which also retained the aesthetics of the finished install. I would have been very disappointed if they had simply made do on the first scheduled day without assuring the line was properly installed and also installed in the least obtrusive way to maintain the most appealing look to the finished project.

Over the phone I was able to get a ballpark number on propane tank installation. The project estimator was prompt, answered all our questions and gave us helpful advice. The propane tank installers were prompt and courteous. The following day, when the fireplace installer needed the gas line moved, Tevis responded immediately and worked with the fireplace installers to solve the problem so the project would remain on schedule for the county inspection process. Our tank was filled within an hour of the connection and approval process! We would recommend Tevis to other propane customers!

They have competitive pricing. They are prompt and quick to respond after making the first call. They were very protective of my hardwood floors and cleaned up after themselves. They explained the process to me, which I liked.

I called several propane suppliers about performing a tank install and provide propane service. This was an area with witch I had no experience. Based on just these phone experiences, Tevis was by far the most enjoyable conversation. Everyone with whom I spoke at Tevis was very friendly and took ample time to explain things and answer all my questions. Scott came out to do an on-site survey and go over all the details. He too was extremely nice to talk with and took the time I needed to understand everything. We contracted for the tank install as well as one of their service plans for cleaning/servicing an existing propane fireplace. On the date of install, two technicians showed up exactly on time. One did the tank, while the other cleaned the fireplace. Both were extremely professional and friendly. I very much appreciated that they took off their shoes every time they came into the house. The carpet was well covered while the fireplace was cleaned. I asked the tech cleaning the fireplace a thousand questions and he answered all of them in a very friendly and knowledgeable manner. All the work was completed in about half the time originally estimated and easily met my high expectations and standards. The only issue related to the work performed was when I went to use the fireplace that night and something did not seem right. I called the next day and the same tech came back out to the house (again, on time) and repositioned the logs and everything is working perfectly. There was no charge for this extra visit. The only bit of criticism has to do with the billing process, which was more confusing than I feel it should be. Part of this was because we signed up for three different services: the tank install, propane delivery, and the fireplace service plan. While the billing could have been smoother, the office staff was always very friendly and accommodating to work through the process.
