The owner, Jon Plunkert showed up the first day and I never say him again. He was nonresponsive to my inquiries. He texted me once and said he was on a family vacation. He asked for several cash payments which we provided immediately.
Different workman did the tile, plumbing, electrical, painting etc. There was no supervision and no communication between the different workers. The electrician tore the door off the newly installed vanity because the workmanship was so shoddy. Someone had stripped the screws on the door and literally propped it closed.
When the painter asked for final payment, I told him I wasn't comfortable with that because I could not contact Jon regarding my concerns and complaints. Upon hearing this the painter threatened to walk off the job. Two of the workmen were downright rude and condescending. I had outlined all my requirements with Jon before the project started but the workmen denied knowing the details and complained that "they didn't know they had to do that".
