The crew arrived on time and did an adequate job on the kitchen cabinets and interior windows. The kitchen floor was not completely clean, but improved. Since further work was to be done in the condo, we figured that it was good enough.
HOWEVER, the bathroom was a completely different story. We had been warned that some surfaces might not come clean and that was true of the tub and sink. There was very little effort put into cleaning the shower door track, so it was still filthy. The floor behind the toilet did not appear to have been touched, nor did the edges of the floor. The toilet was still very discolored and there was urine on the wall next to the toilet. The grout on the tile floor also did not appear to have been touched. The room smelled marginally better.
I hired ServPro because of their advertising, but apparently the condo's occupant was too much for them. They returned once and explained that they use very strong chemicals...apparently undiluted, but not up to the job. I went to the local Home Depot and picked up a grout cleaner that worked much better than anything ServPro used. So much for strong chemicals. Guess I should have set the place on fire and let them do the one thing that they may do right.
