The job went very well. Jamie and his team were very professional, paid keen attention to detail, and always cleaned-up the way one would expect (but so often does not happen). Communications were a breeze. Jamie went out of his way to be sure we always had a functional sink throughout the two-month renovation which was a big plus.
The countertop subcontractor commented on how expertly the cabinets were installed -- best he had ever seen.
The contractor helped us design a project that was suited for our home and were not in the business of "overselling" or pushing specific product lines. Very easy to do business with. Very trustworthy group.
I gave an "A" for punctuality even though this was not an 9-to-5 team. Some days they came in later but the work schedule was not a problem with us as long as we knew what was going on and could plan accordingly. Flexibility for all of us.

They pricing is very a fair, and they did a good and complete job.

After Ken's initial visit to give me an estimate on the job at the end of one week, he was able to get me the estimate, and make arrangements to start the following Monday. The entire job took about 5 days - though the last day was just one man doing the windows. Most of the time there was a crew of 2 or 3, though the first day they started it was raining and Ken sent 4. They were always polite and friendly, and worked around the other things I had scheduled with cheerfulness ( like one day there were guys here laying carpet in 3 of the rooms, and another day there was a team of men cleaning out the basement). Because of the carpet going down, the team made a special effort to get the ceilings in those rooms painted before the carpet was laid. They always used appropriate drop clothes, moved furniture when needed and were careful with it. They told me when they were coming and going and there was always a foreman who spoke english, though several of the painters were latino. I was impressed that one of the painters (not the foreman) walked through the just painted rooms looking over the walls from different angles before he left for the day - seemed to be hunting for the missed spots that sometimes can occur in different lights.
