CHESAPEAKE DOORS

Scheduled to come out on the 14th. Installer (Paul) (sub contractor?) called to postpone until Sunday 15th. Pulled down old doors quickly ripping away some drywall. Put up new doors with tracks all out of line and with no handles which were on the purchase order. He came back next day to put handles on. After a few days the door was making horrible noises. I figured out where the tracks were miss placed by looking at a few of my neighbors houses. Call Cust Svc and they had Paul call me back. He rescheduled to come and take a look. He blamed it on the track manufacturers and said he would get a larger size. Scheduled to come back next day but didn't show. Called to apologize and set next date. He came out said the larger size would work so would make some changes. I got back from work and one wooden stud was completely split but he was waiting to see if I wanted it replaced or if I would go along with another one of his errors. He then replaced that piece of wood but knocked the wall (small piece between the two garage doors) out 2 full inches. At this point I through up my hands and said be gone. It was a horrible experience and I would never ever recommend this company to anyone else. If for no other reason than they employ horrible installers. The salesman was very nice as were the people that answered the phone when I call with my complaints, but in the end I have paid for two garage doors that were not installed well. The whole process that was suppose to take one day took 14 and cost me one day of work.

Called on a Monday morning. Service call was scheduled for that Wednesday morning. The service person added safety wire to existing garage door springs(4). Service was performed in just about an hour. Both the office staff and service staff were helpful, friendly and professional. Tech was scheduled for 8:30 and arrived early! Great! I would use them again.

I BROWSED THE INTERNET AND HOME IMPROVEMENT STORES FOR THE DOOR OF MY CHOICE. CHESAPEAKE WAS ABLE TO ORDER THE DOOR AND INSTALL IT WITHIN 3 WEEKS. THE PRICE WAS SO GOOD, I WAS ABLE TO AFFORD A STORM DOOR. I WAS VERY HAPPY WITH THE SERVICE I RECEIVED.
