We were really happy with the renovations that Charlie and his son Kevin performed for us. We initially hired them for a bathroom renovation. Charlie gave us an estimate with a detailed contract of the work to be performed, including complete demolition of the existing bathroom walls, floor, and plumbing fixtures, repair as needed, and installation of new walls, floor, fixtures, accessories and electric. As they began demo, Charlie pointed us to several bathroom showrooms to help us decide what we wanted to use in the new bathroom. Charlie ordered the pieces we needed as we selected them in preparation for installation. After they removed the existing bathtub, they discovered a leak in the drain line, which they fixed while installing the new bathtub. They also rewired the vanity area to include additional lighting and added a GFI outlet to replace the original outlet. They also replaced all the interior doors upstairs to match the new bathroom door. They were extremely careful about cleaning up after themselves each afternoon and putting away their tools before they left for the day. We were happy enough with the work that was happening in the bathroom that we asked Charlie to complete our sunroom, as well. This included extending our baseboard heating, framing out walls to include two sets of windows, an exterior door and storm door, installing siding, and building up subfloor as well as installing flooring. We wanted to open an existing wall to let in more light through this room, which they did for us, as well as add some recessed lighting and adjusting the location of electrical boxes in the adjacent kitchen. Finally, they built a porch roof over the side door. They were amazing at finding shingles and patio stone that matched what we already had to use in this job. All in all, we found Charlie and Kevin very pleasant to work with, very straightforward in their assessments of what could be done, and very accommodating when we added new requests at the last minute. They were extremely kind to our young daughter, allowing her to inspect their tools and generally watching out for her while they worked. We would definitely hire them again.
