I am really impressed with this business. It was dark when I arrived to pick up my DVDs, and Mike even offered to meet me at my car with a flashlight!

The films were not in great condition, but AJ cleaned them up the best they could and created a dvd with music in the background. Some sections were grainy and dark, which I expected, but I could still relive those precious memories.

I highly recommend AJ Video, they were amazing to work with. I gave them one week to put together a 60th Birthday video using old photos for my mother in law and they pulled it off with flying colors. Mike was so easy to work with and the end result was better than anything I had imagined. Not only did Mike put the video together in a week but he was also able to make me 20 copies to give to our guests as gifts. Everybody absolutely loved the video! The price was very reasonable and I'll be taking more family photos to AJ Video soon to have them converted to a CD.

What a terrific experience. I worked with Mike who was knowledgeable and very professional. He really takes an interest in the customer's project and makes suggestions to enhance the final product. I would recommend this provider 100% for any type of audio/video work. They provide the type of quality and personal service that is all too rare these days.

What a find! Mike is EXPERIENCED and INTERESTED - a wonderful combination! They tried my old tape on four different machines before they were satisfied with the end product - it is a treasure. They made me five copies and keep a digital copy on file if you wish. They are interested , understanding and very efficient and knowledgable. I returned today, was thrilled with finished product and dropped off fifteen additional tapes for them to examine and copy for me, maximizing the quality of the finished product on each one. Quantity discounts are available, and their prices are very fair for the individual attention and care given to each tape.

The results were amazing, and images I thought were missing or absent were recovered to permit viewing. While the originals were shot and quot;by guess and by gollyand quot; with no accurate aperture setting., they made everything visible, added a nice music sound track, and returned all materials to me. I would use the word and quot;magiciansand quot; but think that a bit much!

Mike and Jim welcomed us into their office/lab, took our nearly obsolete video media, and gave us confidence that they could and would extract the content and convert it to digital form for us to preserve and view. Our confidence was well-placed - the results are much better than we expected. When we returned to get the finished product, Mike played the first minute or so of the movie DVD to give us an idea of the result - it was terrific! As we paid and prepared to leave, Jim provided us each with a cold bottled water - that was quite welcome on an hot sultry day. About a week later Mike called us to follow-up on our experience with them. We will return to them for such services and recommend them to others.

They provided exceptional service, professional, on-time, and high quality. I could not be more pleased. I dropped off about 10-12 old reels of old film we found in the attic that were from the 1940s. Most were not kept well. A=J Video reviewed, formatted, and copied the reels onto DVD in a format that makes viewing easy. We are thrilled with the product. They are really nice guys who aim to please. Can't recommend highly enough.

I contacted AJ Video Services (AJVS) after finding out that the video services company I was originally planning on using informed me that they would not be able to convert my VHS tapes to DVD in time for Christmas. I called AJVS on Tuesday, 12/18/12 and spoke with Mike. He was very polite and pleasant on the phone and although he couldn't promise he could do my job by Christmas, he said that he would do his best to do so. I dropped off the tapes the same day in Baltimore. Mike was as pleasant and courteous in person as he was on the phone, and he sounded more optimistic about getting the job done in time. He called me the next day to warn me that some of my original VHS tapes had some tracking issues which could not be eliminated, which I knew and understood. Two days later, the job was completed! I was able to give our most precious family home videos on DVDs to my wife for Christmas - we hadn't seen them in over 10 years and she was absolutely thrilled (so was I!!). I would definitely use AJ Video Services again. They were a bit more pricey than expected, but they did a fantastic job in a short amount of time during a very busy time of year. Well worth the money!

They were very helpful in explaining the process and what my options were. They also provided advice concerning the possibility of future editing if I decided that I wanted to do that. They were very efficient in getting my project done within a week. I like that they do not send my home videos out to a production mill where they might be be damaged or lost. The quality of the DVD they produces off my old VHS tapes was very good.
