I filed a BBB complaint as when I called the manager back Doug he gave me a ridiculous $600 price to install the product. The hole is all ready in the wall. I ended up installing it myself in 23 minutes. I lost two days in vacation time and money!

It worked out great for comparison purposes. Just trying to make that final decision, because they don't carry an brand that we are interested in.

It went very well. The servicemen encountered some unexpected issues but were able to resolve. They were courteous, friendly and professional.

The sales staff was wonderful - informative and not high pressure. It was a no stress buy, and the experience was excellent. Installers were very professional, arrived on time, and installed and leveled the machines perfectly. We will definitely use them again.

They would only service what they sell; they should not be listed on AL under appliance repair.

They are very knowledgeable. I went from a very urban setting to a very rural setting, so I came with some very urban ideas and they adapted to me. They are great. You are just not going to be disappointed. There are others, but if you use their name to anybody, everybody knows them, and every body knows they are square.

First of all the showroom is very beautiful, filled with all kinds of kitchen and other products with many floor models to look at closely. Easy to get to location with plenty of parking. The employees were very friendly, kind and helpful and were very happy to answer the questions we had about newer washing machine technologies, since it had been many years since we were in the market for this type of product, and things have really changed. Our sales person showed us the model we came to see and we ended up buying it there because of how impressed we were by the overall experience at this store. This particular model we were looking at cost about the same here as you can find at other places, and it came with a standard 3 year warranty, installation, and takeaway of our broken washing machine.
The day of the installation was almost immediately after we purchased the machine - there were no long waits involved, which is very nice when you need laundry done! Some places we had looked at had unknown delays for delivery, so that was also a factor in our decision, although we were already sold on this store after our visit.
The installation team arrived on time, and were very professional and thorough in the installation. We have been very happy with our new washing machine from Spichers Appliances in Hagerstown, MD.

This was a big purchase for us. In the end we were very satisfied. When we buy we want to be comfortable with the individuals we're dealing with. We rely a great deal on the honesty, knowledge, professionalism, helpfulness of the individuals at the store and their reputation. We'll pay a tad more for a product/service when we're comfortable with the supplier. Here, Spicher's is well known and well respected in the area. Friends and neighbors gave them high marks. But, the sales rep we dealt with, Brent Phillips, made us want to do business with Spicher's. Originally we were quoted prices on the appliances we wanted BUT they were charging extra for hoses, cords, etc: the necessities that make those purchases work.. We strongly felt that these extra charges were "picky"; like buying a car and when you take delivery you discover that it comes with three wheels and the fourth is now an extra.
That caused us to shop around and we found that there were other appliance dealers who included those "picky" add-ons and were also competitive on the appliances we wanted - one actually upgraded the washer and dryer, the stove top and the oven, the dishwasher and was still competitive. We shared our shopping with Brent and, in the end, we purchased everything from him and were satisfied that what we bought was competitively prices. Those "picky" add-ons were eliminated.
Can't understand why any appliance dealer would expect the customer to pay extra for the electric cord so the customer is able to use the dryer he/she just bought. Or why there would be an extra charge for the discharge hose for the washer. We sincerely hope that Spicher's abandons those "picky" add-ons.
Yes, we'll definitely do business Spicher's again and will highly recommend that you seek out Brent Phillips. Originally, Brent was at the Chambersburg store and then went to the Hagerstown store. But, to accommodate us, the met us in Chambersburg on his day off to answer our questions and help us.

They are well stocked; they have all the appliances in stock that I have gone there looking for and there is nothing that they can't get within a day for me, so there availability is great. They deliver the goods within a day or two. They are very punctual and they come when they say they are going to be here. Their service people are very polite and very professional. If I have an old appliance to be hauled, then they take care of it and if I need any service, they service what they sell.

We were looking between Spichers and another retailer and the other retailer actually told me to to go with Spichers. They work with you to match competitors pricing and their service is far and above. They were very good about being on schedule and showed up on time. Their team was quick, efficient and cleaned up well after himself.

I had spent around $3000 and everything went pretty well.
