Title Companies
I am an auditor by trade, and I don't sign contracts that I haven't read, especially a contract with a 30 year commitment. When I brought this to everyone's attention THROUGHOUT the process, everyone said that it would not be a problem to read the contract before I signed it. HOWEVER, as settlement came near, I had to pull teeth at Signature Settlement to get a working copy of the contract and settlement papers that I would be signing. Signature Settlement treated me as a problem client and said that they would "try" to accommodate me. I will not be using this company when I buy my next house and will not be referring this company to my friends and family.
