Since our foundation in 1972, we have been a locally owned and family operated business that is based in Hagerstown, Maryland. We provide prompt, dependable propane delivery, service, and transportation and offer 24 Hour Emergency service to our customers. We have been providing Sales, Service, and Installation of Propane and related products to customers in Maryland, Pennsylvania, West Virginia, and Virginia since 1972. Over the years people in the Quad State region have relied on Shawley’s to provide warmth and comfort to homes, farms, businesses, and industries with a wide array of products and services. We have a full service HVAC division to help with your Heating and Cooling needs. Shawley’s sells more than just propane. We also sell other fuels such as Fuel Oil and Kerosene. We have a full line of propane products such as Fireplaces, Furnaces, Pool Heaters, Generators, and Water Heaters to name a few. We also carry large selection of BBQ’s including The Big Green Egg grill. I liked Shawley's pre-buy offer, where you can pre-purchase the gas you expect to use in a year at a pre-determined price. Basically, they send you a letter in August with an estimate of your year's usage, and a price so you can purchase that gas in advance. They take care of filling your tank through the winter and settle up with you by issuing a credit for any gas you didn't use at the end of the season. I appreciated not having to worry about the price of propane in the dead of winter.
Propane prices have gone up quite a bit, and I'm shopping around for a better price now, but I don't have any complaints about the service I got from Shawley's.
