Wonderful! Our unit broke and our home warranty company sent someone out to repair it and it remained broken. I called around to get a different company to take a look. Mike came out to take a look at it. He immediately saw several errors and took pictures. He took it upon himself to call our warranty company on our behalf. This is something that he definitely did not have to do. The warranty company agreed to let him fix and replace the unit. He worked **** ** a very hot day in July (and the interior heat pump was in the attic) to fix out unit. He explained several things to us. I could not have asked for a better outcome to our situation.

It went fine. I basically have three units (heat pumps) and one of them goes to another apartment we have and it wasn't working. He checked it out and was able to replace the $20 part and it looks great. He also showed me another issue that I wanted him to look at; we haven't had central air in this place (we've only been here for a couple of months) and he did a great job showing me where the filters and parts I asked about are located.

I was very pleased with the service and the price.  He also told me a previous provider had charged me way too much, he was very honest with me!

Mike was very easy to work with.  I highly recommend using him and I will use him again in the future.

I got home from work at 4:30PM it was hotter in my house than the 91 degrees outside. I call Mike at 4:45PM and tell him my situation. Mike is working a job 1.5 hours away and states he still has 3 calls to make before he could come take a look.  8PM Mike calls to say he will stop by on his way home but the light is fading fast and he might not be able to make repair until morning. 8:45PM Mike arrives,  the poor guy is exhausted from long hot day.  In less 30 minutes he has determined the source of my problem and resolved it. THANKS Mike!  Prompt good service is so hard to find these days, and Mike is rare gem.

They took their time to explain the work.  They were very helpful.  They were on time and friendly.  They did a good job.

Replaced an entire evap coil and topped up leaking freon.

Mike came in early summer  and looked over existing furnace, did an estimate. In a couple of weeks he came back with a wriiten estimate of what I had asked.  He was delayed in starting due to other wrk and a health issue, but was out and installed the new Amana Furnace. These furnaces are rated as one of the best on the market. I had received other estimates at a much higher cost evaluation.  I am very pleased with his work and would recommend to others for his outstanding work, attitude and promptness to deliver.

Checked the old unit , unit was 35 years old , gave me a written quote, order the unit, on the schedule date of the work Mike arrived and installed the new system , on day two completed all the work , started the Equipment ,check the Temp etc , cleaned up.

He was punctual and professional. He made some recommendations to help balance the A/C upstairs.

I called Mike to tune and inspect my AC unit because it wasn't blowing cold air all of a sudden. He checked inside the AC unit and inside the house around the coils.  He determined that the unit had run out of frion because it was not serviced in such a long time and there was a knob missing that the frion had leaked out of.  He fixed the knob and then added more frion.  The AC unit would then not start because I had been running it without frion in it (which is apparently compared to running your car without oil in it).  He attached some sort of "jump starter" thing to the unit and said he would come out again to see if the unit would start.  When he came back a day or two later he fiddled with the unit some more and then it started right up and he added the rest of the frion.  My AC unit has been working perfectly and blowing ice cold air ever since!  What impressed me the most was that not only did he not charge me for the additional trip back to the house (he only charged me for the frion that he used), but he did everything he could to fix the unit and not try to push the sale of a new unit on me.  He was on time, honest, friendly, knowledgeable, and saved me a ton of money.  If you want someone you can actually trust call Mike, you won't be disappointed.

I contacted Mike on a sweltering Sunday to fix my air conditioner, which was no longer blowing cold air. He arrived shortly after my call and quickly determined that I had a bad capicator. He explained exactly what the problem was and showed me the part that had failed. I was expecting a huge extra charge for my "emergency service" since it was a Sunday, but he charged a mere $10 extra.
The air conditioner ran great for a few hours but quit completely later that night. I called Mike back, and he came over first thing Monday morning and discovered a wiring problem. Whoever had previously worked on the AC unit--or possibly it had been like this since installation--had run some wires incorrectly, in such a way that they were pinched between the metal outer cover and a metal guide containing a hole through which the wires should have been going. Mike had found the cover not completely secure the day before, and when he put the cover on nice and tight on Sunday, the vibrating metal touching the pinched wires quickly wore through the insulation layer, causing a short, which blew a fuse in the blower inside the house. It didn't take long for Mike to figure this out and reroute the wires.
He clearly explained everything he was doing and showed me the problem areas.  And best of all, he did not charge me for his Monday visit!
Mike is very congenial. It was like having a friendly neighbor over for a chat... and oh, by the way, would you mind taking a look at my AC?

I thought I would have to wait, because it was a holiday weekend. They came right out to my home. Mike didn't charge me to come out for the mileage that he drove to my house. He came back to my home a second time around 5:30 pm, to ensure my a/c was working properly. He was great!! He said to call him if I have any issues with it. The a/c unit has been working great ever since!!

Mike was extremely knowledgable. My problem was difficult to isolate as there was a short somewhere in the system. He never gave up and could have easily recommended that I purchase a new system. He took the time to explain to me everything he was doing and why. He finally isolated the problem and corrected the issue. It was a single wire in the condenser unit shorting up against the copper coils. Mike did a great job and saved me a lot of money. I'm going to make an appointment with Mike to check out my son's system.

Furnace was not putting out hot air. It was warm at best. I called Mike on a Friday mid-day and he was able to come that afternoon to evaluate the situation. He spent about 1-1.5 hours looking over the system and determined that the furnace was dead (it was over 23 years old) and needed replaced.
Mike was able to start the following Monday and took about two days to complete. 
The job was done to my liking and he was very professional through out the experience. I would use Mike again for seasonal maintenance and any other work needed. I highly recommend him to anyone looking for HVAC services in the Frederick, MD area.

 Mike was on time and showed great interest in finding what was wrong with the Heating System at my house. He run a free diagnostic service  visit and resolved the issue. I would recommend M&J to anyone.

Mike did a great job.  I was renting out my condo and renter said heat was not working properly.  Mike arranged to meet with her and called me to say it looked like the unit probably needed replaced, but he wasn't able to take apart and look at it because it was the evening.
I asked him about taking a closer look and he said he could come back during the daytime and spend some time and told me how much time/labor would cost to investigate.  I told him I would rather spend the money to make sure than thousands to replace.
He again coordinated with my tenant and came back a day or two later and took the system apart.  Unfortunately the system was toast, but Mike called said he wasn't going to charge me anything (no labor, visit cost, etc.).  That is just unheard of in this day and age and so grateful that he extended this kindness to me.
He always communicated with myself and the tenant even though that can be a tricky situation and hard for him at times I'm sure.  I never met him personally but all interactions I had with him over the phone went well and my tenant was able to easily
communicate with him too.

Mike, of M & J 4 -Seasons Heating, promptly came out to give us an estimate of our heat pump and air handler which needed to be replaced.  His prices were very competitive and the equipment he suggested to replace what we had, rated highly on my internet search.  We chose to use him for the job, and we could not have been more pleased.  Mike is obviously very knowledgeable about his work and did a great job crafting the new air handler in to fit with our existing ductwork.  We did have a problem a few months after the job was finished, when the heat was needed for the colder weather.  We called M & J and Mike came over right away.  The problem was a setting that needed to be changed in the heat pump, which he did, and the problem was fixed.  No charge to us at all, even for the house call.  We have had no other problems, but it is nice to know that Mike is there to stand behind his work and the equipment he supplied us with.  I would strongly recommend Mike and M & J 4-Seasons to anyone who needed residential HVAC work.

I just moved in 2 months ago and the temp last night was 14 degrees and projected to be that cold for several days.  The heat went out in the evening and I could not find a reasonable cause.  I fortunately had purchased a home warranty when I moved in.   The HMS Warranty company has qualified vendors and gave me 4-seasons as  the HVAC repair.   I called Mike's number to leave a message quite early in the morning and he was already up for the day and was able to come very quickly in my opinion, especially since he was 30 minutes away.  
He found that the humidifier line to the outside was frozen and really no way to deal with that in light of the temps.  He showed me a trick with emptying out the reservoir which when full turns off the furnace.  For temporary fix that can be emptied on a regular basis.  And, he showed me an alternative way to deal with the associated plumbing issue for when I get the permanent fix taken care of in the Spring or Summer.   He also helped me out with installing a programmable thermostat
He was a very personable individual and really took care of my situation quickly.  Absolutely would use him again.
