Funk called to ensure I had the fixtures and scheduled me for Thursday between 11 & 1pm. They said that they'd call when they were on the way. Sure enough, at 10:40am, they called to say they were on the way. Installing both fixtures took them about half an hour. They look so nice and the light??? It's amazing!! And energy efficient, and bright!! I would definitely use them again and recommend them as well!!!!

It was awesome!! I definitely recommend Funk to any of my families and friends when in need of services they offer.

Gil installed (2) ceiling fans in my ceiling that did not have any lighting. He had to craw through the attic and make holes in order to install lighted/fans. He also install new electrical box, so we could have a switch for the fan and a switch for the lights.   He did a great job.

Great! They team arrived on time. They were friendly and professional. They explained their plan for the day and got to work right away. They brought their own drop clothes to keep the areas they were working clean and cleaned up after they were finished. Gill helped me make plans for further light installments and helped me make decisions about current light placement.

• What they did:
• They replaced much of the original ductwork coming out of the furnace in the basement. - Okay
• They blocked a basement door with one of the new air ducts they installed - preventing the door from closing. - Not okay
• They installed a new whole-house thermostat that was so inaccurate that it actually made the rooms colder. - Not okay
• The new ductwork had lots of air leaks, which steals air from the rooms that need it. - Not okay
• When I complained about all of the air leaks, they first denied it, but then finally admitted to the leaks when I pointed them out.
• They worked for a short time to seal the leaks, but then the owner, Mr. Funk, told them to stop work and they never came back to finish the rest of the job.
• Summary:
• My furnace humidifier still doesn't work.
• I had to hire an HVAC Professional Engineer to evaluate the work that Funk Electric performed in case I had to take them to court.
• I then hired another HVAC contractor to finish the job.  The room temperatures are now more even.

They were wonderful.  They were clean, courteous, pleasant, and professional.  They have competitive prices.

Gil was great! The first visit, I had asked him to inspect the ceiling light because it wasn't working. He couldn't do anything for it so did not charge me for the trip. While he was here, I described the other work that I wanted done. He wrote up a thorough report, which he turned in at his office. A day or two later I got an estimate for the supplies and work. He had to order a ballast for the ceiling light, which fortunately came in the day before the work was scheduled. He was very congenial, thorough and cleaned up after himself. He answered several questions I had regarding the report that I had received from the company that had inspected the house when I was purchasing it, assuring me that much of the work the inspector had said I needed done was completely unnecessary. I highly recommend this company, which was referred to me by the owner of Antietam Tree.

They were very honest, and they cleaned up. They were here, when they said they would be. They are really good at their job, and they know what they are doing.  I would use them in the future.
