When the sump pump failed in our rental house, Rouse Restoration was the first one on the site and worked diligently until the job was done. John managed to complete a handsome restoration while negotiating with difficult tenants and neighbors. He advocated for us throughout the process, and stayed on time and on budget. The quality of work says it all; our house is in better condition than it was before the flood.

Overall, we were happy with the services provided. John was knowledgeable, since he has experience as a home builder, and very helpful. He also made himself available to provide advice on other issues that I was dealing with in my home. He billed the insurance company directly for his work. Please note that we initially got off to a bad start, when John wasn't as professional as he should have been in the beginning. That is why I gave him a "C" for professionalism. But I would rate his professionalism during the last 90% of the job as an "A". But, after I spoke to him about this, he took the constructive criticism to heart and delivered. I expect him to be that much better for his future customers.

They were awful. They left things half done and in a pile of rubble. The owner came out to collect final payment and this did not take place because of the circumstances of the work and the owner left in an accusatory tone. We are finishing the work ourselves.

"we do apologize for any missed understanding although we try to cover all bases. the water damage was on a island in the middle of a lake that was only accessible by a barge to transport equipment and trash to perform job . being that we were out of state contractors helping fema with overloasing of damages lois calls us one day and ask if we could help her out in which we answered her need . the barge man who was transporting us back and forth a his convenience meaning we had to work when he was available and leave when he wanted not to mention he was the homeowners brother. we demoed everything wet in the home even know there were items not able to be burned we transported back over the barge for disposal i.e. drywall which is non flammable . the walls were paneling and drywall which was not told to us til we arrived . there was no running water and one to two power sources available so balancing the drying procedure was a hard task . there was mold in areas in the ceiling that we removed free and the homeowner did not warn us about that was visually a hazard and clearly did not expose . one of the days after we were finished the demo and drying was taking place we opted to go and check on everything and the barge man her brother could not go .so we went and rented a boat to get to island as we were pulling up we noticed a window open that we did not open . now having a open window would have ruined any drying conditions in any instance for any company while its raining outside . the review is a lie and not fair and I was cheated and lied to from the beginning . after I confronted her and the barge man about it they lied and said they didn't do it .we lost a whole day of drying not to mention not being paid properly . this job would have been upwards of $15,000 on xactimate pricing used by insurance carriers we agreed over the phone at $ 4,000 with pictures and very inaccurate description on property .we only received $2,000 three days after starting .we took a loss on the property . the homeowner wanted us to demo everything from ceiling to floor which was not agreed upon from the start we did exactly what was needed and when we left it was dry to industry standard in that zone . the homeowner had a moisture meter of her own and showed me that it was not dry. I explained that there is moisture in virtually every building material and she should google it if she believes im lyeing . I was conned and ripped off . angies list should not of listed this review due to the fact of lack of truth ."

I purchased a Living Social deal for hardwood floor and tile cleaning. Two techs showed up and did the work; they also cleaned a rug for a really great price. They were not pushy at all in trying to get me to purchase more services. They were in and out in under two hours. I was pleased with the work (not outstanding, but good for the price) until I discovered that my powder room trash can (where they had cleaned the tile) had been completely broken. Bottom was completely cracked and the rim was broken. They simply put it back and even put the broken pieces in the trash can, never once mentioning to me this had happened. Accidents happen and I would have let it go but not being honest about it is not acceptable. I contacted the company and was told "well, most people let it go and chalk it up to an accident". Pretty unprofessional response! Will never use this company again.

Rouse responded quickly; removed standing water as best as possible, removed saturated carpet, then remolved damaged sections of walls. Set up bloweers and dehumidifiers to dry basement then followed with repairs to walls. Installed carpet several days later. Basement looking better than ever (and insurance policy updated to improve coverage).

HE ARRIVED AT MY HOUSE IN TIMEFIELD EARLY AND WAS VERY POLITE AND EVEN ASK ME IF IT WAS OK TO ENTER, OF COURSE I LET HIM IN,HIS NAME WAS JOHN AND WENT OVER SERVICES BEING PERFORMED,HE PRETREATED AND PERFORMED A NEW SERVICE I HAD NOT SEEN BEFORE AND IT CLEANED MY CARPETS BETTER THAN I HAVE EVER SEEN AND I HAVE 4 CHILDREN I LIKED THE EQUIPMENT AND THE JOB THAT WAS BEING PERFORMED I ASK HIM TO DO 4 MORE AREAS FOR ME,WHEN HE WAS FINISHED HE RECOMENDED STAINGAURD IN A FEW HIGH TRAFFIC AREAS AND I ACCEPTED TOTAL WAS $250.00 AND I THOUGHT THAT WAS PRETTY CHEAP FOR 4 BEDROOMS,LR,DR,FR 2 FLIGHTS OF STEPS AND A 650 SQ FT BASEMENT AND HAVE ALL THE CLEANED AREAS STAINGUARDED,I WILL USE THEM AGAIN AND AGAIN.THANK YOU ROUSE INC.
