Made appt with provider in April, for the beginning of May because they were booked a bit in advance.  Provider did not call, did not show for appt on May 6th.  Grass was still growing unpleasantly tall, about 7 - 8 inches.  Called and rescheduled the appt.  They explained that they were very busy and that it was hard for them to get to all of their appts.  They were coming out the following week to my area and promised it would be able to happen on that particular day.  Grass was 10 - 11 inches tall.  Second time, no show, no call.  Called them again, and explained that I had a Memorial day picnic planned with a bunch of guests coming over the next weekend.  Told them that my mower had died and that is why I paid them in the first place to mow my lawn.  Stressed how important it was that the lawn be mowed by that weekend, and that all was forgiven if they could just come and get the job done before Memorial day weekend.  They promised that I was their top priority and guaranteed it would be done by the holiday weekend.  No call, no show.  Called them that Friday of the Holiday weekend---and their message said that they had closed early that Friday due to the holiday weekend and that they wished everyone a great holiday weekend----how ironic of them---since they ruined my holiday weekend.  Picnic had to be cancelled for the weekend.  Grass in front and back yard was now over a foot tall ~ 16 inches and resembled a hay field/vacant home in an otherwise well kept neighborhood. 
Their actions are unforgiveable.  I got my money back, but I should have sued them for the investment costs that I had put into the picnic that never happened---I couldn't eat all of the food myself---and did not have the freezer room to freeze it all before it went bad.  However, I never wanted to see them or hear from them again.  They should be out of busniess.  This is a clear case of Over Promising and Under delivering.  NO I DO NOT RECOMMEND THEM FOR ANYTHING.

My experience led me to Angie's list. The company representative kept demanding money up front and then would not show up for weeks or months at a time - at that with consistant nagging on my part. I wanted some value for the money I had given them. No company should treat its custromers this way. Ironically, though the quality of the work for usually shaky, the house exterior cleaning service was quite good, I'd have to say.
We started in January of 2012 and it fizzled out by November. IN between missed appointments and lack of communication were the norm. Usually the price cited was the initial price - it would go up from there after 'problems' were found - on a regular basis. Sometimes we were ignored for months at a time. Even registered mail didn't work - they wouldn't open the mail. To be fair, I think they were overwhelmed because of their overuse of DealFind vouchers and weren't ready for the volumes of work requested. However, they doesn't excuse the lack of communication and the very shaky quality standards of much of the work - which I would characterize as 'close enough'. Not professional.

Like other reviewers, bought two Dealfind vouchers for handyman services. They were supposed to show up on 7/16/12 to do some minor painting in my living room and dining room. This experience has convinced me never to use Groupon-like vouchers for home services again.

I bought 2 Eversave coupons and 2 DealFind coupons pretty much back to back.  I have a condo in Ocean City MD and needed my kitchen (including cabinets) painted.  I also needed some work done around my house (power washing, deck work, etc.).  Prior to purchasing the coupons, I looked them up on Angie?s list and there were no comments for this company.

I made my 1st appointment with Randys? wife for them to come 4/28.  I went down a few days ahead of time to empty the cabinets and remove stuff from the walls and counters.  I had given them my cell phone number to call if plans changed.  They called my house (not the cell phone) the day they were to arrive and left a voice message that they were not coming; their truck broke down.  No problem, those things happen.

I rescheduled the painting for 5/24.  Again, I went down there a day ahead of time so that I would be there when they arrived.  They did not show up or bother to call.  When I called, I spoke to Randy who told me that they were not coming due to the impending holiday.  He insisted that ?get away day? is on Thursday (when they were supposed to come) instead of Friday (everyone knows ?get away day? is Friday when the holiday is on a Monday).  Anyway, they should not have booked it if they didn?t want to come.

Now one would wonder why I gave them another chance.  We rescheduled, once again, for 7/7.  I reminded them that it was the Saturday after the holiday and they said no problem.  The day arrived and once again they did not show.  I again spoke to Randy who told me that Eversave has not paid him (I later verified with Eversave that it was a crock) and he would come if I paid him more.  Needless to say, 3 strikes and you are out.

I was pretty lucky in that I contacted both Eversave and DealFind (both who have received complaints from this company) and I received a refund.

It should be noted that the Better Business Bureau has a caution against this guy.

I bought a discount coupon for painting a room.  When I called, the woman was very helpful and scheduled me for a pre-painting evaluation and the actual paint job.  The day of the evaluation, no one showed up. Over the course of the next 2 weeks I left 4 messages before I got a call back.  I told the gentleman that I was scheduled to have the painting done in a few days and he said he would check the schedule and call me right back.  That was 12 days ago and I haven't heard back since.  I subsequently painted the room myself and got a refund for the coupon.

Absolutely horrible.. No action. Promises only!

Nothing was done. Requesting a refund of the price I paid in for service certificates and will never contact them again.

I talked to a woman who worked there on 4/23/12.   I had just missed their Groupon deal by one day, and I told her I was sorry I'd missed it.   I was wanting it for my elderly in-laws in their 90's with Alzheimers  and Dementia and couldn't do anything, she gave me a 'deal'.   The check I wrote on the 23rd cleared their checking account on the 25th.   She said they'd probably be their to cut their grass starting around May 1st.   Between then and now, we did have some rainy days but there were many times they could have come.   I went to their house and the grass kept getting taller.   I kept calling them and had to leave messages.   I finally had to find someone when the grass was nearly to my knees .   I sent an e-mail a couple of days ago telling them that I want their money back and if I don't hear from them, I am calling the Better Business Bureau or possibly taking them to the Small Claims Court.   They could have called or sent an e-mail, but nothing.  I'm so angry.usion

The firm is completely unreliable.  Three times during the course of a month they informed me that they were coming to mow my lawn then they never showed up any time nor did they ever inform me that they were not coming.  I was heading out of town for a week the day after one of their scheduled appointments, so when they failed to show I was out mowing grass at 9:00 at night.  It looked like a great deal on Eversave, but I never got the service I paid for, just a bunch of unfufilled committments.  Fortunately, Eversave is refunding my money.

I bought six vouchers for interior house painting from Dealfind for this company.  It was not a good value.  I had originally scheduled a date for the painting and then, a week before the appointment, the owner changed it because he had forgotten that he had to go out of town.  Randy (company owner) came on the new date with one assistant, and they painted one room that day and part of another. The original promise was that he would bring three people and do it all in one day. We agreed with him that we'd pay him extra ($500 as i recall) to spackle and sand some walls that had holes in them, as well as paint the ceilings.  They did spackle, but they missed a number of holes and did not consistently sand where it had been spackled so my walls had bumps in them.  We had removed all of the heating vent covers and light switches, and they painted over the old dried paint without removing it.  It took a total of five visits for them to finish, and at the last visit the substitute painter who came had to re-paint much of the previous work . The whole project took a month to finish.  Most days when they came, they arrived between 10 and 12 and left by 4.  The visits were not all in a row; in most cases there was a few days between visits and often longer, and more than once they said they were coming on one day and then changed their plans. in one case the owner said he could not come because he had to visit his sister in the hospital but when he came the following day he said that he had been working at a site that day. Frankly, by the end, I just wanted it to be done.
I understand that we had bought a deal using coupons, but I should have gotten the same professional service as if I was paying full price. We paid extra to have the wall repair done and I don't think we got good value for that either. I would not recommend this provider.

Hundreds of folks purchased their deal - as did many of my friends and myself. They haven't shown up ... for anyone. They are positively the worst. Run far and fast away from these scammers.

We initially hired them to install drywall over existing kitchen ceiling, but added a new window install job to that. They arrived to work on the ceiling, and after an hour or so they couldn't find furring strips/studs, and let us know that it'd be significantly more money to tear down existing ceiling and replace. After they left, I took a hammer, spent 10 minutes making a hole in ceiling, and found studs. My husband and I undertook the job ourselves, and spent about 3 hours doing it. We were told that it'd take K & R all day.They did install the new window, but did an inferior job--so inferior, in fact, that we elected not to have them back to fix the interior, and instead paid someone else a few hundred dollars to do it. They also charged extra to install the trim/finishing on the exterior, and asked for more for the interior. As far as I can tell, this isn't the norm.

Never showed up.

I felt like they were good value for the money. We were getting a vent hood insert and we needed a frame for it, and that got more complicated than what we could do ourselves. We changed the height for it twice, and they didn't complain, they just did it. They had a good attitude.
