Contractor appeared for one day of work. Dug and completed part of drain. Removed existing grass. Upon inspection of work, I discovered large rocks had been dumped in my yard from the drain trench which I personally raked into piles on my own time and instructed company to remove (I had no objection to using dirt from the drain trench to level my yard but obviously did not want large rocks under my sod). Also asked company not to park their trailer in my side lawn which was damaged on their first visit. In response, business owner texted me he was walking off the job because he claimed I didn’t “trust” him. Obviously he took another, bigger, job and walked off the job leaving me in the position of having to clean up the mess he left here and hire another contractor to finish the job. And he still charged me $500.00 for the work he broke the contract and left the job. Extremely unprofessional. Angry and disappointed a business would treat a customer like this.
