LARRY HILLS & SONS EXCAVATING

We worked with Jay Hills at Larry Hills & Sons to replace the septic tank and drainfield at our property in Hollywood MD. We failed the septic inspection when selling our property, and were under a tight schedule to replace the septic system before our scheduled closing date. Our property is located in the Chesapeake Bay Critical Area and we received a grant from the Bay Restoration Fund to help with the cost of a new Best Available Technology (BAT) septic tank. The county required a 20' deep drainfield, and Larry Hill has the equipment to be able to excavate to that depth (the septic company that we initially contacted could not install a drainfield that deep). Jay Hills coordinated with the St Mary's County Health Dept to be sure the installation was done in accordance county & state requirements (when the county report was not completely clear), was pro-active in submitting proposal/contract and scheduling work to meet our schedule, and cleaned up our yard after the installation (including leveling ground, planting trees, laying grass seed, and covering seed with straw). I'm completely satisfied with the service provided by Larry Hills & Sons.
