GREAT MILLS TRADING POST

GMTP recently repaved my driveway. The total area was approx. 2400 sq ft. I was pleasantly surprised when they came in about 10% cheaper than the next lowest bidder. Combine their excellent reputation and quality work, with the low price and I was ready to get the work done! It took about 2 weeks to get scheduled which I thought was very reasonable. This also allowed for all of the Miss Utility markings. My original curved driveway was paved in 1995. It was completely worn out and damaged. It was also too small, with some design flaws. Monday they excavated the new areas and removed the bad spots in my 19 year old driveway. Then they put the base down and compacted it. We parked on it that night, and they returned on Tuesday to pave. Again, I thought it would be a few days but with rain threatening on Wednesday, they definitely saved us from some muddy shoes. When they pulled up the next morning, they just unloaded their equipment and went right to work. Very impressive, and each person seemed to know exactly what to do without saying a word. This paving crew was from a company GMTP acquired in recent years, which also had an excellent reputation and did tons of paving in the original Wildewood subdivision among others. I did have to open and leave the garage door open for them so their equipment didn't hit my door. And about 2 hours later, they were done, my mailbox was replaced and the driveway was taped off. They do business the old fashioned way, which I also really like. When I got home from work, I called to arrange for payment, and he came by in the morning to pick up a check. I am very pleased with the work, quality and professionalism! I will definitely call them when I need more work done, and I highly recommend that you do the same! Note to Angies List - This should be categorized under Driveways-Asphalt and NOT Excavating. I dealt with this company's division for asphalt driveways/residential.
