About us
If you are purchasing a home in the Annapolis, greater Baltimore area or on the Eastern Shore of Maryland, Showalter Property Consultants is the home buyer’s choice for a home inspection company.. A Home Inspection from Showalter Property Consultants will help to educate you about your new or exisiting home. This includes all accessible major systems and components of the home such as the grounds, structure, roof, electrical, HVAC, plumbing, room, grounds, interior, basement, crawlspace, basement, fireplace and much more. We follow the standards of practice of the National Association of Home Inspectors and Maryland State. The Client should interview any potential home inspector to verify they are qualified to perform a proper home inspection. The Inspector's qualifications should include inspection related training, length in the industry, actual experience in construction or architecture and a true understanding of the structure and components. See our credentials and experience here. Our credentials include Mr. Showalter being a Past President of the National Association of Home Inspectors. We have full membership in the American Society of Home Inspectors (ASH), the National Association of Home Inspectors (NAHI) and the Building Performance Institute (BPI). We also meet all of the Maryland State criteria for performing home inspections. Mr. Showalter developed a national home inspection and training company he sold several years ago.
