Rich Judd and his talented team are amazing. Small company that uses the same team so they know each others work. True top notch professionals that do the job right. Rich is creative a shows up every day to ensure that that days team knows exactly what to do....which 99% of the time they did....every job has minor questions. The suppliers Rich works with are also top notch and when we walked in they knew what we needed. All we had to do was pick out what we wanted. They are a friendly team that really loves what they do. We are very pleased and excited with our new kitchen, a huge remodel and a much-needed expansion. It presented quite a challenge for Rich and company, because we not only cook, but entertain quite a bit and the remodel had to include extensive bar service support. After the design consultation and some tweaking, we went through the arduous task of moving out of the kitchen. (If you cook a lot and do a full remodel, be prepared for outdoor cooking with a good grill!) It took about ten weeks, COVID delays, of course, but still longer than usual because, first, we live in a 1932 home with plaster, and there are always surprises with this kind of demolition, particularly, since we requested very robust lighting and electrical support; second, it was a very significant expansion that included removing a radiator and accompanying pipes and adding a new vent hood (which we didn’t have!). We were back cooking in our kitchen in about eight weeks, while the crew put on the finishing touches of trim work, paint, and backsplash, including a custom glass stove backsplash. We couldn’t be happier, because of the attention to quality and detail by the crew (and the tile specialists who lined up our requested herringbone backsplash pattern beautifully on the wall corners!). Lighting, carpentry and plumbing are all top notch! Full disclosure, we are friends and neighbors of Rich who have known him for many years–one of the reasons we selected him, to be fair; however, what makes Rich stand out is that, for these older homes in our southwest Baltimore neighborhood, he has a deep and abiding respect for the architectural details and does not simply “redo” when remodeling, but makes the outcome blend seamlessly with your home’s design, especially an older home. This is especially clear in the preservation of existing and application of new wood trim. We highly recommend him for that alone in remodeling.

Glenwood Kitchen and Bath renovated our kitchen, powder room and laundry area several years ago. It was great. We needed to renovate our master bathroom 2 years ago but we were on a tight budget and chose another contractor....but who did not have the experience or quality outcomes as Glenwood Kitchen and Bath. Glenwood Kitchen and Bath team came in to take up the shower tile floor, repair the pan and drain, update the pipes for water flow and repair the ceiling hole and repaint. today, you cant see where we had a leak at all. High quality workmanship from each of the team members. We should have had them do the work the first time and had it done correctly then... and spared the hassle and expense of a cheaper contractor who had to be fixed. Since that time, having learned my lesson, Glenwood Kitchen and Bath renovated our guest bathroom that is lovely !! Lesson learned: Go for quality and great communication with Rich and team the first time!! It is very much worth it in the long run.

We've trusted Rich/Glenwood Kitchen and Bath with all of our house renovations, including the kitchen and all three bathrooms, over the past 10 years. Rich is incredibly knowledgeable, professional, and a pleasure to work with! He has great design ideas but also incorporates your style and vision. Are you looking for a contractor to remodel your kitchen or bath or for some other home project who provides excellent design advice, who shows up when he says he will, who personally oversees all the work, who completes the project when he says he will and whose work is of high quality? If so, I highly recommend Rich Judd - Glenwood Kitchen & Bath, LLC: We first used Rich about two years ago to remodel a master bath. He just completed the second project for us - the complete remodel of two full baths and one half-bath and a kitchenette - in slightly under the ten weeks originally promised, and that included a nearly 50% expansion of the original project scope (including completely finishing a previously unfinished large basement room). The carpenter, plumber, electrician, drywall installer, tile specialist and painter who did the first project performed the work required by the second project. We (and our dog) are quite comfortable with them in our home. Rich stops by virtually every day that work is being performed. We have already begun planning our next (more modest scope) project with Rich.

Rich and his crew and subcontractors did our kitchen a few years ago and, after looking at other contractors, selected Glenwood again to remodel two full baths and a half bath. He is easy to work with and his crew made requested changes on the fly. We have three beautiful bathrooms and no complaints.

From start to finish, Glenwood K&B was professional and hands on. Estimates for the work were always very close. All the work was top quality. Rich did the design and directed us to preferred shops for the materials used. Each of the shops knew Rich personally and helped select products (and gave discounts). Rich kept his contractors on schedule. He was always up front about any changes. Few issues arose, but when they did, Rich worked diligently to resolve them. I would use Glenwood K&B again and have recommended them to friends.

Kitchen and mudroom were beautifully designed and built to perfection. Rich and team are reliable, trustworthy, and highly skilled in all aspects of the kitchen remodel process.

Glenwood renovated three full baths and our powder room. There were several things that impressed us with their work.  They were extremely professional and courteous. They showed up when they said they would and completed the work in the time that they estimated.  Compared to several other neighbors’ experiences, our projects were accomplished in a very short period. From the start of demolition to completion for all of the bathrooms, they took less than 5 months, and some of that was over the holiday period. There were very few days in which someone from the company was not on-site.  Our house is approaching 100 years old, so much of the existing framing, plumbing, and wiring was very old, so the house’s construction was not exactly like current practices. Glenwood’s team was not surprised by anything “unusual.” They’d seen it all and knew how to handle what looked like perplexing situations, whether it involved electrical, plumbing, tile, or carpentry.  The team was excellent at problem-solving, especially in suggesting ideas for storage. We did not move any walls, so the old home had limited options for improving the layout and storage options. The Glenwood team offered several great ideas that we incorporated. We have no hesitation about recommending the Glenwood team!

They are a little more expensive than other companies, but the quality of work and professionalism of Rich Judd make it worth it. You get what you pay for. Both jobs finished on budget and ahead of schedule. Good communication from Rich and the workers showed up when they were scheduled and cleaned up each night.

Rich is very talented attentive to our needs. He made suggestions that have worked out brilliantly and managed the occasional issues that arose. We are very happy with the service.

The Kitchen remodel went very well! All the workers were very skilled, polite and friendly. They were punctual arriving at the house and completed each of the stages to our satisfaction. They were neat and cleaned up after themselves. The project turned out great and every detail was just what we wanted! I could contact Rich anytime and he was always extremely responsive and went out of his way to answer my questions or accommodate my wishes. We we're so pleased with the work that Glenwood kitchen and bath did at our house! Our kitchen was transformed into a much more functional space! Amazingly well. Rich is a professional. The quality of the tile installation and cabinets was excellent. And the specialized plumbing (big tub with lots of extras) was all installed properly and by code.

Professional, on time, and trustworthy. I generally do not like to have work people in my house, but I felt very comfortable with all their workers, i.e. plumber, electrician, tilers, and carpenters. Very happy with the process and the results.

Richard provided great follow-up service on a 2011 master bath project. When we called him about the blocked door, he sent the carpenter who worked on the original project the same week. Mike removed the door, removed all of the loose paper inside the wall, and showed me how to remove the door myself in the future. We were very pleased that even 7 years later they were very responsive to a request to fix something from the 2011 renovation.
