About us
Richard Leggin Architects was founded in 1983 with the intention of providing clients with professional top-quality architectural and construction services. Our projects have earned numerous awards, including: Remodeling's Whole House Project Merit Award, Home Book's Design Excellence Award (in four categories), Remodeling Magazine and NAHB Remodelors Council Remodeling and Addition Renaissance Design Merit Award, Best Traditional Home Award, Suburban Maryland Builder Association's Project of the Year Award. Because we remain a relatively small practice, our clients receive the benefit of the direct involvement of the principal on all phases of their projects. We feel that this continuity of service and close attention to our client's needs throughout the course of each project has been an important contributor to the success of the practice, and accounts for the long-lasting relationships we maintain with many of our clients.
