Starting with the team of Tyrrel and Tony, who came by the very next morning and gave us our estimate to the quick service the next day for a brand new furnace. The professionalism continued the next with Joshua and Keith who skillfully placed the furnace and explained in detail what they were doing. The placed sheets of protective mats on the floor to not damage anything. To finish off with the ladies at the home office, Rachel, Miranda, and Deanna who set up the original appt and helped with the financials. Great customer service and the easiest to plan with.

Great. I had tried to get the company with which I had a maintenance contract, Accel, to give me an estimate; they were completely nonresponsive. Another company, Polar Bear, the representative was informative, punctual, and professional, but the boss said they would not install one under the window, that it couldn't be done! it has to be on the side of the window. Visually, aesthetically, that was not going to work for me. I was going to forget getting a mini-split. But then I called Sila. Someone came out right away; said, of course, it can be done. Two days later, two men came and expertly installed it and carried the window unit, which I donated, down 3 flights of stairs. The mini they installed is unbelievably quiet and works perfectly. I waited to do this review until after I had tried the heat; it too: perfect and quiet. It is under the window, works great, and is just what I wanted. Going forward, I am going to use Sila to maintain the two central air units that I have for other parts of the house.

I call Sila all the time for my HVAC needs. They have become my go-to for anything HVAC related. They're always responsive, helpful, honest and friendly. I'm picky about my service providers and the quality of work performed. If I ever have a problem, they're always quick and easy to deal with.

Found out the morning of an appointment scheduled a full week in advance the representative would not be able to make it. Worse, still hoped to get the job by offering a ballpark estimate if I call him back, site unseen. Ok, if he didn't have to see it, why was an appointment necessary? Then, if he didn't have to see it why couldn't I have just gotten a quote with the initial request. And the kicker: the "ball park" price was the highest I've recieved for the same work. Waste of time.

They found an issue which required more investigation. They had to charge a little extra for that, but didn't charge me full price.

Very well. Technician was very friendly and professional. Ultimately, he decided that that noise was the fan rubbing on the casing and not anything wrong with the motor. As such, no repairs were required. He lubricated some components as part of the service. Bonus: paperless office. Amazing! (I hate paper)

Great - they were on time and professional throughout, both in terms of scheduling and the work itself. Tony was efficient and knowledgeable. He recommended a UV "air scrubber" be installed which was a bit of an unexpected expense, but warranted, I believe. I may even put one on the furnace in the new house. All in all, good experience and would definitely use them again.

Workers were respectful and worked quickly. They cleaned up everything and stayed after installation to show me how everything worked and answered questions.

The vendor arrived on time and performed the task in a little less than 90 minutes. He helpfully volunteered that city water contains little sediment so every three years is a good schedule for on-going service. I was pleased to receive this essential service for such a good price.

Same technician that had serviced my home before- I like the consistency. Always tries to upsell- this time suggesting I needed a new water heater overflow tank which I did not. Quality work at top dollar price. He continues to suggest I need an entire system replacement to a new HVAC system which I do not.

I can't rave enough about Sila's recent seasonal tune-up/service call! We pre-purchased two HVAC/heat-pump inspection and tune-up coupons (we have dual-zone) around Thanksgiving and scheduled the appointments for the first week of the year, which just happened to coincide with a significant cold snap that was overwhelming our lower level unit. Sila was able to accomodate our schedule and gave us a 3-5pm two-hour window for the appointment. They also followed up on the day of the appointment to confirm that the technician was en route and would arrive promptly at 3pm. He arrived at exactly 3pm, donned shoe covers in the house, was extremely polite and went above and beyond to diagnose the issues that were inhibiting our one unit's optimal performance (a dirty gas flame sensor). All in all, I was extremely satisified with Sila and will most definitely call upon them for additional service in the future.

The work itself was fine, and the technician was professional. However, nobody called to set up the appointment, nobody responded to my email to try and set it up, and I had to contact Angies List as well as the company 3 times to set it up myself. When asked, they only admitted they dropped the ball after I pushed them several times to figure out how the communication from Angie's List got missed. I am too busy to chase them down, when other companies can do the same job.

It was easy to schedule service with Sila. They were very responsive and worked around my schedule. The technician was punctual and professional. He did a through job flushing my water heater and ensuring it is in good working order. He was neat and took care not to mar my hardwood floors.

I received a call when the technician was in route and was given an estimated time of the techs arrival. Not only did the tech arrive on time, but also kept me engaged with what steps he was taking to overlook the unit as well as cleaning steps to keep the system running and in good working condition. I would recommend this company and its knowledgeable techs to others for great service and fair pricing.

Technician was right on time, called ahead to let us know he was coming, and did a great job performing the system maintenance check. Even showed us how to clean the filter on the inside unit of our secondary ductless split system. He did such a good job that we paid the extra $70 on top of the original Angie's list price of $79 for the one-time HVAC check/maintenance, to upgrade to the annual contract which covers another semi-annual maintenance, as well as giving discounts on future repairs.

I have a maintenance plan. I pay yearly, so I do not just pay for that. I would use them again in the future.
