I requested they leaves small branches and I will use it to the fire place and remove the strum. Man name Jose the leader of the group said I can return in two weeks and cut your trunks in fireplace with a good price and I agree. After a month they never showed up sometime they promise in a week they will come and February 14. In late April on and off they come to my neighbors house but only removed half of the tree but they never comeback. 6 weeks a ago I called them many times and they said they were busy. He is un reliable, didn't finish the work I paid them to cut down the tree. I also called them 20 times from the period they stated to cut the tree. I spoke to Jose and left voice mail he said that he is too busy to earn money and I get tired of it .

Unprofessional crew and dangerous. Dropped big tree limbs on my fence and neighbors shed then will not pay for damages. Stay clear from these guys they will seriously injure someone.

M & G's quote was considerably lower than the other 3 I got. Also, they were able to start the work sooner. They arrived on time and worked to complete the job.

I don't know what the major complaint is above and don't know why Angies list would allow such a bad review to be on their google page showing before people sign in to view Angie's website. Shame on you Angie. These guys done an excellent job and Marvin and his crew are top notch. Took down 2 - 70 ft tree's and one was over the BGE power lines. And the price couldn't be beat.

Very badly. When they cut limbs or part of the tree, they did not lower them down by a rope, but let them drop to the ground. When asked why, I was told they couldn't let them down. I then said if that was not possible, to remove them off the ground cover and away from shrubs immediately. This was not done. The limbs, etc. were left lying on top of ground cover and shrubs until either I and my husband removed them, or after getting angry at them they removed some. I found a sawed off stump which was the remains of a 7 'Red Bud tree. I was told it split when the wood fell. Also 6 azaleas were either destroyed or damaged along with a Japanese Maple tree. Needless to say, the periwinkle and pachysandra were damaged. I called Mr. Gaitan to say I was sending a price list from a local nursery to replace the damaged and destroyed items. His response was he didn't need to listen to me. He had dealt with my husband. I sent the letter, first saying the property was owned jointly and his comment about not dealing with me was invalid and enclosed the price list. I stated that he could choose to reimburse me for the damage done, or pay us the 25% he advertised for Angie's List members. I added I looked forward to hearing from him immediately. The letter was sent Sept. 12, and enclosed were pictures of the damage. For some reason, our computer is not responding to iPhoto so I only have one photo to show, but the area was left a complete disaster zone with zero regard to our shrubbery, other trees, plants, and landscaping. This photo shows one area where they killed the Red Bud tree (that was given to us by my sister who is now deceased), ferns, two azaleas, and other shrubs that had been landscaped there. It was absolutely shocking the complete disregard and no care they showed for our home. Since I have contacted him, I have heard nothing from him. Helen Neville

80mph t-storm gusts blew over a 25-30ft tree in our yard. It landed on a small fruit tree - crushed it.Got up the next morning and called Mand G because they were local and their hours start at 7am.They were here by 8:15 and gone by 9:30am. Did a great cleanup job and will be back next week to grind the stumps.
Nice guy, nice crew. Would definitely recommend without hesitation.

He has cut down some small dead trees for me, and then he took some dead branches off of some bigger trees. When he first came out to the neighborhood, he was taking down a tree for a neighbor, and there was some dispute on the property line. He took the time to go over the property lines and resolve the situation. I also mentioned to him that to grow his business that he should come out at 9 am on a Saturday and chip up all the branches that have fallen in the yards after we have had some storms. He came out and all of the neighbors brought their branches to him, and he chipped them up. He was able to get some jobs from that, and ever since then neighbors have been using him. He has come out in emergency situations when it has been storming, and trees have been in danger of falling into homes. He goes above and beyond. His prices are very reasonable, and he has a great crew.

I had other estimates ranging from $1,500 to $2,800. When I called M and G, they came out the same night to give an estimate. I was surprised when he told me how much and asked him to explain what services it included. He came with a crew of 4, at 7:30 am, on time and it took the whole day. The truck made some divets in the yard but overall I was very pleased with the work done.

Very satisfied with the job. I asked the company to leave the trunk of the tree, they did that and cut it in small enough pieces to move.
