Well. Mr. Jones plans to return in the spring to make requested repairs to front steps.

Both Russell and Joseph came to take measurements and walk through the project with me.  They explained the entire process to me about grading the existing surface (#2 stone and CR6), applying weed block then using the asphalt compactor machine to apply 3" of hot asphalt which is compressed to a uniform 2.5" throughout.   We scheduled a date; they kept me informed of the status of the job, arrived on time and completed the job in the time frame they promised.
I am very happy with their service and the workmanship of the job.    A+

We requested estimated to have gravel only on the dirt section of the driveway. Mr. Jones kept calling for weeks about doing the job. We finally hired him to complete the job. Although we hired him and stated we only wanted gravel on the dirt section,  we never realize they gave estimate with a measurement for gravel over the entire driveway, which didn't need gravel and was fine as is. We informed Mr. Jones of this and he told us he would need to charge minimum $500 just to go back. 2 Baltimore inspectors came to the property and failed the gravel job because it was such poorly done and had a lot of sink holes filled with water, because even though they spread gravel all over the driveway, they made the driveway worst because there wasn't enough gravel to pack it in. Tried on several attempts to have him correct the job that he messed up, but upon their consistent phone calls to do the job and get paid, they have not responded to correcting this job, s kept making excuses, they going to correct it or they in going to send estimate or they in Miami now. BE AWARE AND WARNED!!!!

Joe and his company were recommended to us by our neighbor. Several of the other companies we contacted, if they got back to us at all, were unwilling to take on a project so small. The driveway had two small sinkholes. Joe came out and looked everything over. Explained to us his opinion as to what could be causing the holes and walked us through his recommendations. His opinion was since the holes were close to the garage that rainwater might be overfilling the gutters and puddling on the driveway. He recommended that his crew pull up that section of the driveway to ensure that there were no foundation issues. He was polite and professional.
However, we are currently residing in a rental where the homeowners are not local. They also spoke with Joe via the phone and decided to go with the more inexpensive option of filling the holes and sealing the driveway. Even still, Joe was respectful of their choice. His team completed the project in under a day. We would use his again.

Pretty well done. Only disappointment was they initially indicated they would take out 2 feet of driveway where it butts up to garage but when they showed up they decided not to do that because that area had settled lower than garage floor level so they felt they did not need to do so in order to get it to properly butt up. I insisted they at least dig out one spot that appeared to be a problem and they did so.
They were prompt, efficient and cleaned up everything when they were done.

Saw-cut areas by garage,sidewalk and street. Repaired/cut out broken areas. Applied adhesive tack coat to driveway and machine applied a two (2) inch overlay of 9.5mm hot asphalt surface mix. This was tamped and rolled numerous times to achieve a beautiful and smooth surface. The edges were banked at a 45 degree angle.
The preparatory work done by the team of five members was meticulous, and the outcome was beautiful. The team members were mostly family as this company is a family concern. All were pleasant and professional. We had a brick edging on both sides of the drive that we opted to remove. Mr. Jones and his crew removed the edging and neatly stacked the bricks on the side of the garage...much appreciated. Clean up was meticulous as well.
I had seen a flyer of Mr. Jones' business and had looked to see if the business was listed on Angie's List; the business was listed and favorable reviews ( only 3 and I hope he will soon have more! ). Further research found no negative reports from the BBB. At that time I thought I would get a sealing of the driveway done in the fall so did not call for any work to be done. Weeks later, Mr. Jones was in the neighborhood and I had the opportunity to get extensive amounts of information. He was in neighborhood to provide sealing, but I had decided due to the age of our driveway and obvious degrading of the drive that I needed more than just sealing. I asked for an estimate, which he was able to give me on the spot. After confering with my husband that evening we dicided to proceed with the overlay. The call was made and an appointment time set, weather permitting, and today we have our finished project. Thank you Mr. Jones and crew!
Very prompt in returning call, came on time as scheduled. Did not try to oversell above what was needed. There was no coarse language. Would very definately refer this company.

They did a great job and were professional. I would recommend them.

It went very well. He gave me estimates and even knocked off some money. He was done in a reasonable time and was very pleasant and nice.

They came out and put some asphalt on the drive and its black; so it looks good and it's still there. Usually, some people come out and spray, and the next day it's gone, but it's still there.
