Harriss roofers did a great job, worked promptly and completed the job in a short time frame. They had to undo and replace the shoddy work done by another contractor who gave me months of delays and aggravation for poor workmanship. The job was covered by insurance but the Harriss price was less than that of the first contractor who did the shoddy work and Harriss used much better quality materials. I would definitely recommend Harriss roofers.

My roof was replaced about. Week and half before we had that day of high winds that shut down schools and businesses. The roof held up great. They showed up on time and worked nonstop. It was a two day job. The first day I needed them to finish up by 2:00 because I had about 10 people coming to my house. They said no problem. They were cleaned up and gone by 2:00. The next ,orning they were there on time and finished the job. They were respectful and cleaned everything every day. I highly recommend them.

George and his guys are top notch. We've hired them to complete several projects over the last 10 years and the results are always outstanding. Professional, prompt, high quality of work and always leave the job site clean.

This was a very positive experience with Harriss & Co. They were every responsive and helpful. They removed the 3 existing roof vents and the insulation blocking them. Two of the vents were replaced with heavy gauge metal vents and flash, and the other vent was replaces by a mounted roof fan with a thermostat and humidistat. They matched the shingles with replacements around the work. They recommended an electrician who came and hooked up the fan. It's helped our problem a lot! I heartily recommend them!

I last reviewed Harriss Roofing on Oct. 23, 2009. They did an excellent job which has held up beautifully over the years.
Because my husband and I recently made some major changes to our home, like move the location of our kitchen, we needed a roofer. Harriss Roofing was the only one we would trust with the job. Once again, excellent work was delivered. We have always found them to be extremely ethical, easy to deal with, meticulous and very trust worthy! They are the yardstick we use to judge others.

I can't remember the exact cost of the new roof and skylight Harris installed for me almost 10 years ago, but I have had nothing but problems ever since. They also installed a skylight at the same time which has done nothing but cause me problems. I had to get another company to fix the problem correctly. They came out every year and coated the roof, but it still leaked and they did not correct the problem even after several attempts. They came when they get ready to coat the roof each year, often times no one was at home as they did not set appointments. Then told me they completed the job and sent a bill. These guys taught this woman a lot. I let them keep coming each year, knowing my warranty would be no good if they didn't, but what good did it do me. I still had to have another company come out and correct there mess. I don't call that professionalism, The warranty is about up on my roof and so is my confidence in this company.

I love this company, the Harriss brothers are terrific gentleman and take great care of our old slate roof and copper gutters. They are old fashioned in the niicest way; polite, hard working and always do excellent work. We have used them for many jobs and repairs.

Fantastic, Harriss did what we contraced them for within and quot; budget and timeand quot;.Our family room, which was my wife's concerned turned out better than we imgined. George Harriss said we would have his lead man and quot;Dannyand quot; at our property eveyday and he was. If he wasn't working on her family room he was working on my garage.
My garage was better than I expected. Mr Harriss made sure things were done, and in my opinion better than expected. They made sure everthing was well within code if not better.
Can't say enough good things about this contractor.
We have done business with three contractors prior to Mr Harriss so we had our doubts, about time and budget, but not with George.
He was there fo US all the way.

My tenants informed me that during the last hard rain, water had dripped down through the ceiling fan in the upstairs bathroom. The roofing company I originally called said that they were too busy to look intp the problem, so they referred me to Harriss Roofing. I spoke to a fellow from Harriss Roofing who took down my information, but never got back to me or my tenant. I called a second time and reached a woman who took down my information again. This time, they arranged with my tenant to take a look at the roof. They mailed me a contract with the list of proposed repairs -- refastening a ridge vent and replacing damaged shingles and pipe flanges. I mailed them back the contract with a deposit. About two weeks later, I received the final bill in the mail. The tenant confirmed that work had been done.

Everything worked out well. We had to call them back to get additional gutter work. I would recommend them.

Excellent!!!!!!!!!!! 5 Stars !!!!!!!!!!! I got estimates from 6 roofers for this job. I'd still be looking today if I hadn't found Mr. George Harriss and his crew. They were Superb and I truly believe they are the best-kept secret in the profession. I started out not understanding a thing about roofs. I called Mr. Harriss an embarrassing amount of times over a period of months and each phone call he patiently answered my questions educating me in the nuances of roofing. He has special techniques, that the others roofers don't do. An example would be Fabricating and installing 4 lb. lead pipe flanges and a special way they layer the ice and water barrier to the valley sections of the roof. The other guys in the field just don't do the extras. His Forman Guy was also a gem, keeping the entire job running smoothly. This company is outrageously neat and extremely well organized. My roof is excellent and I sleep well at night knowing that I will never have a single problem !!!!!!

WE WERE VERY HAPPY. THEY CAME TO OUR HOUSE AT THE TIME WE DISCUSSED, AND THEY WERE DONE THAT EVENING- ONE DAY- THAT'S ALL. THEY CLEANED EVERYTHING UP AND DID A GOOD JOB!
