We live in a private community. In the process of unloading their paving equipment, they damaged the private driveway that all the neighbors share. It's not a local road, we're all financially responsible for it. I actually talked with two of the guys from Brother's Paving when they showed up the second day to complete work and asked them if they could load their equipment at the job site. It was over a 1000 feet that they drove their equipment on the community driveway that is privately owned. They went ahead and damaged it a second time. The professionalism is a big concern. I would really like to warn anybody that they really don't seem to care about damaging the property. I very politely asked them if they could repair the damage they did and if they could prevent additional damage and they seemed annoyed that it was even brought up and totally disregarded anything I said. The piece of equipment that was on our drive had about a 4-foot tread width and I told him that I could actually feel the car rumbling when I drove on the track mark. He mocked me and said, "Well your car doesn't have a 4-foot wide tread width. You just need to drive one tire on it." They were very argumentative. I tried to approach them very civilly and very professionally and I did not find them really professional in their response.
