We've hired them for years, as has the community of Bretton Woods, and have been happy with their services. Leaf removal, snow removal, grass cutting, etc.

They've done landscaping projects. They had to dig out all the Boxwoods and I think there must have been at least eight Boxwoods that were four feet tall. Some of them were shorter, but the ones right in the front were at least four feet tall. So they took all of those out and then they put rock up the side of the driveway, and then they put rock and mulch in the front and planted perennial shrubs along the front, in front of the bedroom window, and mulched. And then they mulched underneath the Elm tree and planted Hostas - like twelve Hostas. It took them like two days to get it all done. They came in the morning, worked till like maybe three or four in the afternoon. It starts getting real hot after that, around that time. So it took them about two days to get it all done. I'd give them an A all the way across, including the price. I mean, that's a lot of work. I'm gonna hire them to do some work in the back yard.

The cost includes new strings of lights, and the tree I have them put them on gets taller every year, so there's always more lights. They come and put them up, and then January the 6th they come and take them down. They put them all along the roof line, and then I have a Blue Spruce out front that they decorate, put the lights on. And then if I have any yard things, they hook them up so that everything's on a timer, so that they come on at the same time every day and go off at the same time every day. That includes the timers; they put the timers on and set the timers. I'd give them an A across the board. For the price, I don't know what anybody else would charge. I love the lights up and my husband can't get up on the ladder anymore to do it. That's part of what I like about him adding that to his schedule; is that it helps him keep people on the payroll longer, because landscaping is a seasonal business. So by adding, doing the Christmas lights and outside lights, it helps him keep his own employees on the payroll longer. I think that's a good thing.

They haven't raised the price in years, and I think they have like two or three guys. They use their blower and they clean everything up, so it's very professional. It was 45 minutes for what it takes my husband and I three days to do. I'd give them an A across the board.

I was not home when he came out but he still did the estimate for me. He did not come out on the day he said he was going to. The experience has been good for me so far.

Woody was the upfront partner who presented the estimate and make suggestions for the design of our pond. His customer service posture was exceptional. Work began three days after the contract was signed and Woody, his partner Ralph, and their two workers showed up exactly on time. Instead of just digging a hole and laying a liner in it, Beaver Pond used nearly 12,000 pounds of large, medium and small boulders, rocks and gravel to complete the project. A high quality skimmer and bio falls filter, and numerous underwater lights were used along with a sufficient quantity of mulch and driftwood to finish the project. Woody and crew (Ralph is the workhorse, working like a true craftsman) placed each rock and boulder with great precision - like artists, carving a sculpture. Gravel filled all the spaces between the rocks resulting in one of the most natural looking garden ponds I have ever seen! This is my first review on Angie's List and I am not sure if my email is included. If so, contact me and I will be happy to send you photos of our new pond. Beaver Pond's work is first class and of the highest quality and I highly recommend them if you are considering having any landscaping work performed.
