ALL TUNE & LUBE

I have taken the car there for years to have the oil changed.  There has been no problem with them and the prices are more reasonable than other places.

This service is not pretty or clean; however the price is right and they do not try to sell you something like Jiffy Lube does.

The most recent visit was a second time I used this shop for a major repairs. Last time I used them after i got a list of repairs needed to be done from the Firestone mechanic but at an astronomical cost. All Lube and Tune was recommended so I took my vehicle there instead for a second opinion. After some negotiation, TJ agreed to perform the essential work at more reasonable price than Firestone.
On this visit, i took my vehicle directly to All Tune and Lube and received the diagnosis results shortly after I dropped off my vehicle. TJ, the office manager, explained all the work that needed to be done and how much it would cost. I did end up asking my boyfriend to make a follow up call to figure out what work was absolutely essential (vs. recommended). It turned out most of the work was indeed needed on my 13 year old vehicle but during that call TJ offered a saving of nearly $280 off of all of the work quoted originally.
One caveat though - after I picked up my vehicle, I saw a wrench left on the hood of my vehicle, near the wiper. Thankfully, I saw it shortly after i left the shop before I got on the highway. I can only imagine what would have happened if I didn't notice it before reaching a highway (either my windshield or vehicle behind me would have been damaged or in the worst case, it led to a car accident). The lesson from this - to check the vehicle before leaving the shop.
Overall, I will continue taking my aged SUV there and recommend the auto shop to others.
