We used Your 1 Plumber to replace a broken main sewer line at our home in Gaithersburg. We could not have been more impressed by master plumber Wilmer Rivero. His professionalism, courtesy, and follow through were top notch. We strongly recommend Your 1 Plumber and will be using them going forward for our plumbing needs.

Wilmer and Mario did excellent work replacing my old, rusted galvanized water main. When it was discovered that the old water main was routed under a large tree in my front yard, Wilmer came up with a plan to route the new main in a different way to avoid the expense of cutting down the tree. The new route also makes a more direct path to the plumbing in the rest of the house and creates easier access if (God forbid) future repairs are needed. While the project ended up being more expensive than initially quoted, Wilmer always made sure to communicate what was happening with me and let me know what all my options were. Wilmer and Mario were always very courteous throughout the project, and I feel confident in the work they did.

The crew did an outstanding job replacing my waterline. Work inside the house was clean, professional, and when they were done, you couldn't tell they had been in there. For the excavation, they carefully excavated additional yard to allow them to get the waterline run when it was stuck. Overcame a significant problem and saved me significant money. Well done.

Wilmer Romero cares about his clients and client property. We just bought a house that was built in 1937 and needed the original, galvanized water feed line replaced. Everything that was promised - Wilmer delivered. He was always polite, on-time, and when faced with the inevitable issues caused by having to dig a 30 foot zig-zag trench 5 feet deep - he and his helper were creative. The city inspector saw the superb work and tried to find fault ( that city inspector seemed to have a big problem with people that don't look like himself ) but no fault was to be found. Wilmer Romero, his helpers, and Your 1 Plumber delivered spectacular work - with grace. Ours was a big job and our first introduction to our new neighbors. I could not be happier with the experience, and think our new neighbors are equally amazed at the efficiency of Your 1 Plumber and Wilmer Romero. Thank you Wilmer. Thank you Your 1 Plumber. Great job, but a bit expensive.

I had service done, and when the person came I explained the problem in a way where we thought I had a major pilot light issues (potentially need to clean or replace sensor, do other crap), so he billed/authorized under that assumption. When he looked at the heater himself, all he had to do was a restart (push the red button) to start the pilot light, so it was a good 30 seconds of work. Shouldn’t the invoice reflect that all that had to be done was a simple restart, as opposed to all of the other stuff that I’m guessing was in the invoice but was not necessary since it was a simple restart? There was nothing else done. (i.e. testing, cleaning)

Very responsive and friendly. Fixed hot water heater issue within 2 days. Technicians were on time and even a little before appointment window. Seemed a little pricey for what they did, but knowing I have water again, was worth it.

Rip off!!

First of all, Loved the low rates for them to come out and quote the job (1/4 price of others). I was selling my house (unoccupied cuz I'd already moved across country) and just needed some very small leaks fixed, did not want to turn this into a big replacement job, just satisfy the buyers and the inspection report. They understood (while other companies wanted to replace entire main stack!! silly since I've had work done recently and knew we just needed some TLC!) and got the job done quickly (SAME DAY) and for a great price.

Terrible, sent a person who did not do the job right and caused the pipe to burst in the middle of the night, sent a manager who was great but my issue was not solved; I still had the same water pressure problem as I did when it started. I also had a charge $308 for another company, will charge $130 for the same switch. I was terrified that first person spent whole hour did nothing but talking nonsense.
