An Ad which was listed in the Washington Post on Sunday 1/7/07 had a coupon for the Madison sofa for 40% off, in store only, the sale was good until 1/20/07. On Monday morning 1/8/07 I went to purchase the sofa and they had none in stock. I asked if I could purchase the floor model and they said I could not since it was not a discontinued item. I ask them to call other stores (eight stores in all) in the area and none of them had any in stock except for one sofa in Sterling Virginia who would charge $213 shipping charge. I asked if I could pay for it today and have them ship it when it came in and they said no rain checks. I emailed the company to say that this seemed like bait and switch advertising and they emailed to say they would look into it. At the end of the two week sale I called all the stores and none of them had a new shipment of the couch. I went to Gardeners Furniture and got a great deal with good service instead. Message don't believe World Market coupon sales.
