Mark did an outstanding job performing the inspection of the house I was purchasing. He was prompt, friendly, detailed, and informative. He was extremely thorough and made sure to check every corner of the home. Even my real estate agent was impressed at the thoroughness of his report, which contained great detail. Mark inspected two homes for me: One home we ended up walking away from after we found some wiring issues that we thought were too big for us to take on. The second home we are currently in the process of closing. We knew after the very thorough inspection he gave us for the first home, we needed him for the second house we put an offer in. Mark is great.  We actually never got to meet Mark since we were buying a home from a distance but we had our family be present for the inspection and my parents raved about how detail oriented and thorough Mark is. He gives you a very detailed report in record time. We got both reports within hours of the inspection.  Mark was also always available if we have questions regarding what he saw.  When buying a home is probably the largest purchase one would ever make, it is really important to get a good inspector! I would definitely recommend hiring Mark!

Mark was very helpful from the beginning, when I first contacted him to schedule an inspection. He arrived at the property a few minutes early and had already started looking around by the time we reached. He was professional and courteous throughout the inspection and answered all our questions very patiently, and pointed out everything that he found as we went along. He was also very thorough and took 3 hours to inspect this 1100 sq ft house with a basement. We never felt that he was in a hurry to finish the inspection.
We received the inspection report that same evening. The report followed a fairly standard format, with a summary of the important issues followed by a detailed description of the property and all systems. The only minor downside, if any, would be that one or two of the items in the report were not described in a lot of detail, so if someone had picked up the report without having been present during the inspection, they might not have fully understood the problem. However, that was not a problem for us since he had explained all his observations to us in person during the inspection.
The radon test results were also provided to us in a timely manner. Overall, we are very satisfied and definitely recommend Pivotal Inspections. Thank you, Mark!

We found Mark Mostrom from Pivotal Inspections through our Redfin agent when we were considering putting in an offer on a house. He did a and quot;pre-offer inspectionand quot; that took an hour and is a bit less detailed (and less expensive) than a full home inspection. He was very efficient, and also took the time to point out what was of concern and what was easily fixable. He made it very easy to weigh the pros and cons of the place. I was impressed with how much he was able to get through in an hour, he went through the electrical system, checked for water damage, looked at the foundation, checked HVAC, even climbed up on the roof, where we found a suspiciously sagging chimney and less than perfect waterproofing on the roof surface.
We were very happy with the service and wouldn't hesitate to use him again for future inspections.
