The tech alleviated my fear that I had mold in my bathroom and recommended that I have my roof check to see if there were any leaks because his meter showed moisture or humidity in the ceiling area. I was not able able to allow access to my attic at the time of his service

The service provider, whose name I've forgotten (!), was responsive, prompt, and thorough. He found mold in the bedroom and told me what I would need to do next -- call in to have it remediated. He also checked for mold in the room immediately below the affected bedroom. I probably would not have thought of this.
Description of Work: This was an Angie's List special. The gentleman who came out was professional and knowledgeable. I suspected mold in my 2nd floor back bedroom and called to have the walls tested for the presence of mold. He came out when he said he would and stuck prongs along the wall and found the presence of mold and approximately where it began and ended. Without ripping the drywall down, he could not say where the moisture, which was producing the mold, was coming from -- it could be a leaky roof or the need to repoint the outside bricks. After looking at the outside bricks, we both suspected the latter was the primary culprit. A leaky roof couldn't be ruled out until the walls were opened. My house is 103 years old and has never been repointed. This caused the service provider to suspect that maybe the room immediately below the 2nd floor bedroom also had mold and he checked that room as well. While he found no presence of mold, he did find that the walls were spongy, suggesting portions of the drywall should be removed for further examination. This service provider does not remediate mold. I would need to call in another provider specializing in remediation, which I since have done.

Fantastic! Juliano called to confirm, arrived on time, and took the time to ask key questions regarding our concerns. He then proceeded to examine the areas of concern taking care to ensure the least amount of disruption or damage. He then presented me with a couple of options to choose from once he determined that the problem was not as critical as we thought. He was very professional and re-assuring and never tried to oversell his service or products. I would definitely call on this company and particularly recommend this technician (Juliano Cuete) in the future for any of the services they provide.

The visit went really well. He was very thorough and spent enough time to do a great job. He followed up with a report and email to let us know that he was available for questions or additional consultation. We were very pleased with the level of service he offered, and we would highly recommend him!

Based on my comments above, I would strongly recommend this contractor for this type of work!
Description of Work: Upon a comprehensive assessment of the mold condition in my home in Chantilly, VA, and a careful review of the completed work order that another mold remediation contractor did at my home two years ago, Mr. Cuetejyre of Airwiz assured me that I need not have any further remediation work done at this time. Instead, he strongly recommended to me that I run my dehumidifier 24/7 , which should totally remedy the situation. I would like to further state that this contractor did all of this without charging me at all, plus he came all the way from Germantown, MD.

+ -1 moreProvider arrived during the timeframe quoted. Actually, the owner of the company, Mr. Giuliano, came out and performed the work. He listened to my concerns and why I wanted the sanitization done. He explained the process and showed me, via my furnace system, where the sanitization product would be applied and how it worked. The entire process was quick. He even cleaned the wall at the air return area where the previous air duct cleaning company (not his company) had left fingerprints over the wall. Mr. Giulian was thourough and professional. He also guaranteed the work. Would definitely use this company again.

+ -1 moreThey did a good job. The ducts are clean. The employees were on time, thorough, etc. It was a small job so it did not take much time. I was satisfied with the work that they did.
Description of Work: My condo had some mold in the parquet flooring which was installed in the late 60's. I had torn the carpet up which released the mold so obviously there was a recommendation to clean the air unit and ducts. I have never utilized duct cleaning but given the mold and the fact that my allergies seem to get worse the older I get- I went for it. There was a also a small amount of visual mold on the air handler unit. My condo is small, about 840 square feet.

+Miguel and Jesus arrived exactly on time and were very thorough and did a great job of remediation of the mold in my heating and cooling air handling system. Miguel explained what he was doing and showed me the condition of the heat pumps wires, the air handler itself before/after.
