They were great.

They were too much. They were too expensive.

Showed up on time, performed service properly.

They are a pretty good location, most professional  it seem it has a lot of people that are wandering around, sometimes it can be difficult to find a staff member too.

I recently returned a leaking water heater that was under warranty by the manufacturer for a replacement. Apparently, the manufacturer has changed their policy from replacement to offering a pro rated amount for the life left in the water heater which would have given me a $60 credit rather than a new warranty.  One of the managers Sylvia, recognized how unfair it was for the manufacturer or Home Depot, not entirely sure which, to change the conditions of the warranty after the fact.  She stepped in and helped get things straightened out. Silvia and her assistants were able to cut through the red tape and get me the new water heater my warranty said I was entitled too.

Home Depot measurement service was expected to keep an appt I scheduled two weeks in advance. After purchasing a home that needed serious flooring work, I requested an estimator from Home Depot to come out and measure e could still do the measurement the old fashion way. WOW! This was not the worst of it. Home Depot charges $35 for the estimate. After this incident, I decided not to use them for this project but give them another try at the house we just moved from. The measurement cost me another $35 and I called to confirm the appt and address with their measurement service. Two hours into the appt. the gentlemen called to tell me was running late and was on his way. WOW AGAIN! Will Home Depot ever respect my time? The manager still does not understand why I did not choose Home Depot for carpet.

Ordered a door online. Turned out to be the wrong size even though I put the correct size in my basket. I tried to call the store and no one would answer the phone. I had to use the Gaithersburg store.

I decided to give them a call because of their services. I would use them again in the future.

What was scheduled to be a three-day job took three months to complete. Some materials shipped for the job were the wrong size, the countertop was cut wrong by the installer and a new one had to be ordered.  Incredibly, when the new one arrived it was damaged in the unloading process.  I was never offered any compensation.  They only agreed to make it right no matter how long that took.  When the properly sized materials arrived, they would not come and install them, until the replacement counter top arrived, because they did not want to have to make more than one trip.  The inconvenience to me of having my kitchen torn up was of no concern to them.  It was a horrible experience and I would recommend anyone contemplating kitchen remodeling steer clear of Home Depot.

Overall I would say this is an average Home Depot. Its fairly neat and well stocked. If you really need help you can usually find it in a reasonable amount of time. Sales staff has so so knowledge, reasonably pleasant.

Purchase of the door was great. Salesman at the Depot showed me a more expensive door that was on sale for the same price as the one I had chose. Very friendly service. Installer came out and noticed rotted wood below door jam that would cost extra to remove and replace. I did this work myself..(Will never do that again!) I had to remove the original sliding door myself and that was difficult, replaced wood flooring myself and recaulked the area. Installers came and installed new door in a professional manner . They also replaced molding around door. They also removed old door and materials and cleaned up around the job site. Very happy with the purchase and installation.

I was pleased with their work. They were very prompt, quick and clean. They cleaned up afterwards and they did a good job on the install.

Salesman was wonderful and very knowlegeable. The delivery men were very prompt. They had given me a window and said they would call 30 minutes before arrival. They did and arrived at the start of the window I was given. Installation took about 30-45 minutes.

Several calls were made to follow-up on delivery and install date. They worked all day and thoroughly cleaned up afterwards. The head person had me walk over the project to ensure satisfaction before signing papers.

The service was excellent. I have used them for everything for years and they are always excellent.

They did a good job and completed the work in three days. The work is to my satisfaction. They were very professional and I got what I asked for. There was never a mess left at all. They did a good job and I had no problems with them. They sent someone to my house to do measurements and bring samples of different products that were available. The price was basically the same that was listed everywhere else and I think it was a fair price. I was on a timeline and was in the process of transferring my home from Detroit to Virginia. I went with the most available company so did not do a lot of quotes.

They did a great job. They were absolutely great. The job was wonderful. I was very impressed with them. They are such a large group and I thought they would ignore me but they didn't. We used several of their bathroom fixtures too. The most interaction we had was when they did the carpeting and they were absolutely professional all the way. They were very impressive. I would highly recommend them. I didn't pay a lot for the carpeting. We did not buy the best grade carpet.
