While doing the MD State Inspection for an '04 Accord we bought in VA, Marty and his shop found severe misalignment of the rear end suspension parts, as well as a bunch of brand new front suspension parts recently installed.
While CarFax didn't find any record of a vehicle accident insurance claim, apparently the prior owner did enough out-of-pocket repairs to pass it off as a trade-in.
Century Auto did heroic measures to try to salvage seized up rear adjustment parts and minimize the overall repair costs. I even asked about replacing a $200 part on the left side just to make it the same as the matching right-side part that was damaged. Chuck said we should wait and let the alignment results be the verdict. In the end, I saved the $200 expense of a needless repairs.
Now all the previous road vibrations (even when the car was on smooth roads) have gone away. Car rides and tracks almost like a new vehicle. Chuck even invited us to bring the car back in a month or so to recheck the alignment to make sure everything is staying put.
I was so worried I had bought a lemon, now we're really happy. Terrific service and a terrific outcome. Thanks Marty

Added bonus - they were walking distance to my office.
In the process of replacing the water pump, the antifreeze had to be replaced. In the process of filling the system, Century flushed the system with antifreeze that cost $28 per gallon, and had to use several gallons to flush the enire system. This added an additional cost to the repair that I had not anticipated.
Nevertheless, I will continue to use this company for future repairs, as Century is a very reliable provider of auto repairs.
"I do understand this reviewers concern about the price of the engine coolant / antifreeze. Almost all vehicle manufacturers now have very specific engine coolants. Sometime, in the life of this vehicle, generic green coolant was added. Because this coolant system capacity is slightly over three gallons, it took a full four gallons to purge all of the old green coolant from the system. We blew it on this estimate by not including the total cost of the additional service up front. We do try very hard to make our repair estimates as accurate as possible, but sometimes this happens. I do offer my apologies to this reviewer and offer my thanks for taking the time to create this mostly positive review."
"I can understand someone not choosing to use our services again because of a "personality conflict", but I feel that the ratings on this review were unfair. As for the "D" grade on price, we recommended to use the dealer branded part because, on this particular vehicle, the aftermarket branded "premium" part was only $10-20 cheaper. There was a choice for an aftermarket "secondary" parts line of which we question the quality. It is unfortunate that this car happens to have a very expensive starter, but we ALWAYS want to offer our customers the best quality part available, but will also offer cheaper options when available and let the customer make the choice. It has been almost two years since this repair was performed (July 26,2011) so I can not remember the exact conversation concerning the repair estimate, but I'm sure that we would have offered all parts options. I don't understand the "C" grade for quality. We used the original dealer part and, to the best of my knowledge, did repair the starting problem on the car. As for the "C" grade for responsiveness, The reviewer did give us an "A" grade for punctuality. The car was brought in as a no start, so most likely there was not a pre-arranged appointment (as is understandable), but we did have the car ready by the next day, so I feel that we responded to a car not starting situation in a relatively timely fashion. If we were not responsive in some way to the reviewers' needs, then I can only apologize. I'm sorry that we are not the shop for this reviewer, but do try to attend to all of our customers & their cars needs in a professional, timely & efficient manner and price our repair costs as fairly as possible."
