They claimed that they had a Maryland Home Improvement Commission license and were insured. During the process they damaged various things around the exterior of my home (Lights, windows panes). I complained to them about the damage and decided to check their background. I discovered that they were not licensed or insured. Luckily I had not paid them in full and had only paid them the deposit. I filed a complaint with the MHIC, and the company hired a lawyer tried to take me to court for assault. Of course I never assaulted anyone, and their only witness was one of their employees who was also a relative of the owner. They immediately decided to seek a settlement. The legal fees would've been more expensive than the settlement, so I agreed to settle. I would recommend that you avoid this company. They misrepresent themselves prior to the work, and the quality of work is poor.
Description of Work: I hired them to strip the exterior paint off the facia, trim, windows, etc of my brick home. The total price of the job was 4800.00 and I paid 33% up front.
