Sloppy work, misaligned trim looks unprofessional, like someone who doesn't care about their work. When I complained, they promised to fix it, but weeks later they have so far ignored it.

Came out right away, very responsive. It was a tricky situation that was handled by them very well.

It was an exceptional experience; they came out and completed the work within 3 hours of submitting my request on Angie's List. I liked that they are family-owned, he was responsive, gave me a reasonable price, and professional.

Although I expected them sooner, they did NOT get notified I had indicated an 8- 11am window of time I would be at my new empty townhouse (that I was not living there yet having just closed on the house 2 days prior), but I had other work of other contractors that morning, so it worked out ok. Once they got there, they went to work immediately. They cleaned out the former bird's nest behind the non attached siding, and cut a piece of wood that was preventing a flush connection so it could be correctly closed and sealed shut. They charged me a SMALL FRACTION of the other estimates I got $275 vs $750 so I highly recommend their work and their honesty. They were quick and efficient, friendly, and helpful. Larry was telling me that although they are primarily a roofing company that they do not shy away from repairs. I am thankful, since he didn't inflate the price like apparently other roofers do (I got 650 and 750 prices from others) so I highly recommend them.

Reliable called me before I was even off of Angies list site to schedule someone to come out. Bob from Reliable show up early which was great. He was very professional and we had a good conversation as he explained the issues and what it would take to repair. Bob gave me the estimate right there and said that if I agreed he could have the repair completed in about 2-3 days. I went on a business trip for a few days and when I returned my flashing and roof shingles were repaired just as Bob said he would do. There was a door hanger left with instructions on how to make payment with the office and I called and made payment via credit card. Cant quite speak to the long lasting quality of repair yet as it has only been a few days, but I suspect that everything will be fine. My shingles and flashing are about 20 years old so the new flashing is a bit newer and shinier looking but once it weathers in it will be like it never happened. Overall very pleased with the customer service and repair from Reliable Roofers. I will call them again in the future for any roofing siding needs. Thanks Bob and everyone else at Reliable!

UPDATE UPDATE Prior review stated that we had a leaking skylight in the kitchen and decided to have Reliable (who installed our roof 3 yrs earlier) install 4 new skylights including the leaking skylight. After installation the leaking skylight continued to leak. Reliable said that it was not their skylight but rather an excessive amount of rain coming off the gutter hitting the skylight. I contacted the Maryland Home Improvement Commission and after they intervened Reliable installed a new skylight and will be compensating us for the repairs to the damage on the kitchen ceiling. Reliable's management was very responsive to our issue and wanted to ensure that going forward all issues were addressed. We are very pleased with the customer service and the resolution to our leaking skylight. They are a good company and I know they will be more attentive to matters like this in the future. The owner Mark Farmer is the go-to guy to get things done. We would call Reliable again for service / repairs because we know them and they know us. They want to please the customer...that is a fact. Call Mark Farmer at Reliable because he gets things done.

Think twice about using Reliable Roofers in Laural, MD. They replaced our entire roof in 2013 and then in 2018 we had them replace 4 skylights. Prior to replacement of the skylights one skylight was clearly leaking into the kitchen ceiling below. We contracted with them to replace all 4 skylights. Following the installation the skylight that leaked before continued to leak with the new installation by Reliable. For many months we asked them to fix the problem. They came several times to look but refused to acknowledge that their work was as fault. To date they have refused to repair / replace the skylight that is damaged. The kitchen ceiling around the leaking skylight is now damaged and it too needs repair. In the interim i have covered the skylight with heavy plastic to stop the water from entering the kitchen ceiling. Reliable they are not. They are nice guys so I hope they will read this and contact us to resolve this issue. We will update our review when they fix / replace the skylight that is leaking.

They've been excellent so far. They are doing the work today. On time. Very professional. They really work with me to get a schedule as soon as they could. Very happy with them. Joe is great.

The installation was preformed on 7/20 and for about 30 days there were no leaks. Recently the leaks started again. I called every day for 2 weeks to have them come and just take a look at it. I was told on several occasions they would be out but still have not shown up. I cannot recommend this company as they will take your money but do not value the work preformed. After completing the online profile in Angie's list - they were the first to call. I regret not doing further research - Do not bother using this company - customer service is awful!

Their price was good. However, there were several delays. There was a lot of rain, but they started using that as an excuse. The roof was not done when the appraiser came. When I inspected the roof before final payment, I noticed several shingles that were lifted up. He was very upset with me for calling him to correct these things, but I said the appraiser would never give the OK on that. They were unreliable and I would never use them again. We had to go to settlement late over it.

This roofing contractor charges ridiculously high prices to do simple roofing repairs. I had 2 vent collars replaced and the ridge vent removed along the roof peak and capped off with shingles. It took the worker a half-hour to accomplish this for which I was charged $450. I admit I was dumb enough to agree to this charge at the outset and only discovered later that I payed more than twice what I should have. I found out after the fact that a more reasonable charge for this work would have been around $200. Don't use this roofing contractor!!!

Reliable Roofers did an excellent job, they were punctual, courteous and neat. I couldn't have asked for a better team to do the job. Awesome just awesome.

I had a leak in my family room ceiling that had been difficult to resolve because all the shingles looked fine in the area where it was occurring. I called a few roofing companies, including Reliable Roofers, to schedule an appointment for an a diagnosis of the source of the leak and a repair estimate. Reliable was sent someone out the same day that I called, so they were very prompt. Also, the office was very responsive in giving me updates once I scheduled the work to be done. Although other roofing companies had given me their opinions about the source of the leak and estimates, it wasn't until Bob from Reliable Roofing came that I was confident in the diagnosis. He took his time walking around my roof and looking at the leak to try to get to the correct answer. I even told him what I had been told previously and he said that wasn't the source. He stated it was being caused by several shingles that were not sealed in the area of the leak. It made sense given that water leaked only during heavy, driving rains. It cost a fraction of what others wanted to charge and, after a particularly rainy period, I believe it has solved the problem. I will definitely call them again for any other roofing needs.

The job went great! They came out promptly to give a free estimate and were very nice and professional. After agreeing to the price and terms and choosing a roof color, they came out and replace the main roof and the flat roof. The job took about 2 or 3 days to complete. They did an outstanding job and cleaned up after the job was completed. The new roof looks great and there has been no leaks in the year we've had the new roof. We are very happy. I only gave a "B" for the pricing since we were only able to get one estimate (the other contractor never showed up to give an estimate) and we have nothing to compare it with. It seemed like a fair reasonable price.

I found this company by stopping an employee (Bob) in the parking lot of a Lowes, I'm glad I did.  This guy really knows roofing!  We have an older roof and found a few issues and he not only provided a good price, the fix was thorough plus he really explains everything in detail.  When he crawling in the attic he came back and showed me video on his phone, told me what areas were fine and exactly what needed to be done.

Came home and noticed shingles on the ground and shingles awry and a bare spot on the roof.  Called about seven firms, but Reliable was the first one to show up the next morning.  They inspected the damage, gave us a quote, got the needed materials, and fixed the roof that day!  We were in a hurry due to a forecast for more strong winds, and perhaps we overpaid considering the relatively small area damaged, but we slept better after Reliable fixed it.   As for the quality, it has been only five days, but so far, so good!

initially we had some issues with the service but Reliable contacted us and we worked the issues out.

The repair team was punctual, professional, and knowledgeable of the required tasking.  They worked very well as a team, and I am very pleased with the results. I would highly recommend Reliable Roofers for any roofing needs.  Thanks for a superb job.

I had a leak into my fireplace and storms were coming.  I went through my insurance and they noted this provider.  I was desperate and the contractor knew this.  I agreed to pay $650 for him to cover my chimney with a tarp and tape it shut.  I knew I was being ripped off, but I was hopeful it would stop the water into my home.  We all now call it the "golden tarp"  the tape did not last even 2 weeks, it was laughable.  Worse still, it DIDN'T WORK!!! rain continued to pour in.  The man was nice, but I never should have paid this much for a tarp.

Excellent work! I noticed a shingle had blown off my roof earlier in the week. I wanted the repairs completed  prior to the expected snow and rain later int he week. I called around to 6 different companies. Reliable Roofers was the ONLY company in the area that answered the phone. They were able to get Bob out to my house the next day, something no other company was able to do. Bob showed up on time, was very personable and explained the cost and what the work he needed to perform. He also said he would fix any problems once he was up on the roof. He completed the work quickly and ensured all the minor problems with my roof were fixed. I will call Reliable Roofers back for any future roofing needs. Highly recommended, you will not be disappointed!
