"Just for clarification. As you said you requested the job be completed in April. Not true you contacted our office for an estimate on May 22nd 2020. Not sure where April completion came from. You signed the contract on 6/15/2020 and a deposit wasn’t received until 6/22/2020 ratifying the contract. The fence wasn’t measured correctly? The measurements were taken based on your instructions as to where you wanted the fence to be installed originally. A contract was executed showing the house, where the fence was to be clearly located on the house including the location of the gate(s). You wanted to move the fence further up towards the front of the house, which added 56lf of fence, causing us to have to order additional material to complete your project. Because of the material delays due to Covid-19 we started your project on 9/15/2020 and returned to complete it on 9/28/2020 with the additional material needed to complete the job. You requested moving the fence to the front of the house adding 56 ft of fence to the project. It was 13 days not a month. We made you aware of the material shortages, which were beyond our control. and that there would be an additional cost because of the additional footage. The permit had to be revised because you A. originally provided us the wrong property plat and B. you moved the fence from the rear of the house to the front of you house so a permit revision was necessary. You had to hire another company to complete the work because the post caps flew off? Not True we completed the job on 9/28/2020. Post caps don’t just fly off, they fit snug on the posts as designed and are individually hot glued on. Its virtually impossible to get them off without breaking the post or damaging the cap. We did have one post cap that was cracked and not installed, a replacement cap was ordered and installed once we received it. We hope you enjoy your new fence. Glad we could clear a few things up. Wish we could post pictures the fence is beautiful!"

"5/24/2017 Hey [Member Name Removed], if you are unhappy with the material we supplied you can certainly return it for a refund. However you cant do a charge back and keep the material, it doesn't work that way. Obviously the material worked out, you kept it and your charge back was denied, Good luck with the project."
"As i said Before: Wow; Sorry to hear that. The last time we spoke you had complimented us on our timely response to the counties quality control inspection and taking care of some minor issues that they had with the deck. I will have to say we have never had a quality control inspection from the county, maybe its something new they are doing i don't know but on the re-inspection report they had listed a few items they wanted proof of or wanted us to corrected. Once we received the report from the county we were out the next day assessing the corrections they wanted us to make. Those corrections were made within 5 days after we received the notice from the county. However when we called the county to re-inspect the deck the inspector was on vacation and it took the county three weeks to get out and re-inspect the deck. Which passed with no other comments. The last conversation you had with Mid Atlantic was with Walt our quality control supervisor and it was noted that you were pleased with our quick response to the inspection notice and our quick response getting the issues taken care of. We have 7 phone lines, fax machine, and email addresses should you need further service. We are always here to help. Thanks for the biz."
My initial contact with Mid-Atlantic was Steve Crabb. He was flexible on making appointments to come see my property and provide estimates. He is a very nice gentleman who is both very personable and professional. I wavered on which type of vinyl fence I wanted to install, and he was very professional in responding to my questions and providing updated estimates as I changed my mind. I eventually opted for some four-foot privacy fencing facing the road behind my house (so my dog isn't too stressed or barky with people and vehicles passing by) and four-foot closed-picket fencing on the sides. Steve did a great job designing the fencing to fit my oddly-shaped property, and although it was pretty expensive (I think?), this was for vinyl fencing that takes no more maintenance than hosing it off, which made it a very attractive option for me.
It took about five weeks from when I made my initial deposit to get the fence installed (they called me a week before the installation date to schedule it). The one thing that I think Mid-Atlantic could have improved for me was keeping me updated on the progress. Steve told me that their schedule was about six weeks out from signing the contract, so it was very accurate, and maybe I am just spoiled by constant alerts in our high-tech age, but I was so excited about my fence and would have liked to receive some automated alerts regarding the manufacturing of my fence (Mid-Atlantic does their own manufacturing, which is great, in my opinion) so that there wasn't a four-week void where I wasn't sure what was going on. That being said, it was a small thing, and I am incredibly happy overall.
Alex and Jorge were the crew that installed my fence.
I have to say that they were quite incredible. They ran into a couple of challenges, and Alex let me know of them and came up with solutions quickly, surmounting them very professionally. Additionally, we had a day that started out hot and humid, then the weather interrupted them with pouring rain three times. Still, they stayed until almost 10:30pm to finish the job (they started promptly at 9am as scheduled), they were very careful to make sure that everything was aligned properly and in the right place, and I couldn’t be happier (my dog is very happy to be able to roam his yard now without a leash as well).
I am extremely impressed with the job that they did, especially given the terrible weather they dealt with.
The quality of the fencing is fantastic as well. One thing I noticed in particular is that the latches on the gates are extremely strong and seem very durable. I am not at all worried that the latches will break anytime in the near future (or in the next ten years!). The closed-picket fencing that they used for the sides is gorgeous. I really love it. I am not a huge fan of the privacy fencing's aesthetic appeal (this is nothing at all against Mid-Atlantic -- privacy fencing is just an opaque fence, so there's not much to be pretty about it), but I had that installed to keep my dog from being able to look at cars and people that are 40 feet away and right near HIS property, so it does the job, and it looks great with the closed picket fencing on the sides.
I am exceedingly happy with the job that Mid-Atlantic did, and they are very much worth the price that I paid. This fence is going to last a long time, judging by the sturdiness that I see in it, and I VERY highly recommend Mid-Atlantic to anyone looking for quality fencing and quality work.
