Suspected small gas leak coming from water heater. Called local utility company to investigate and they ended up tagging the unit as leaking enough to warrant shutting down the incoming natural gas line and the water heater. Called Bilson Mechanical Services on recommendation from the manufacturer of the water heater (Bradford White). The owner, Tom Bilson, responded to my call and promptly diagnosed the problem. Mr. Bilson had the necessary replacement part on hand and fixed the issue within one hour. He further tested for gas leaks and demonstrated to me that there were no more leaks detected by gas detection equipment.
