The work went really well. They communicated with us when they did to come by a few days later than originally planned, and talked through our options clearly.

Work went very well on multiple visits (we kept finding new issues with existing fixtures). Very punctual, friendly, and appeared to outline our options thoroughly and fairly.

They worked with it for a while, and it seemed to be working fine. However, in the past week it started to shut off again. I intend to call them to find out what the problem is because it is apparently not fixed. He suggested to me that the problem may not be solved yet and he told me to call him back if it wasn't working properly. I don't consider him to have done anything wrong. He did everything right and very appropriate, even though we haven't solved the problem yet. I am reasonably confident that we will. He was pretty impressive. There was also a set of florescent under cabinet lights that he repaired, and those are working perfectly.  The price was a standard service call. There were two guys that came out and it took an hour give or take.

Tom & Lawrence were prompt, efficient, and professional in their diagnosis and repair of a problem we had with our GFI circuit outlets. They were able to find and fix the problems at a very reasonable price. We will be hiring them again soon to install some new lighting and add a new outlet or two to our bathroom. Highly recommend them for electrical work.

Tom Candland called me back and said, “From your description, this may be something Pepco is responsible for. Call them—they have to come out for free and, if it is their responsibility, they have to fix it for free. If I come out and discover it’s Pepco’s problem, I’ll have to charge you a service fee. So call them, and call us back when you know if Pepco is taking responsibility.” Well, it wasn’t Pepco’s job. Tom and his helper showed up when they said they would, were cheerful and pleasant, did a great job tracing and fixing the problem, and left my kitchen cleaner than they had found it. I was so pleased with their work that I scheduled them to install a very necessary new electric panel and circuit box. Another job well done, and Tom recommended a handyman to do the necessary drywall repairs [another great job done there, too].

Contractor (Tom) Arrived on Monday morning to start work,
all work was mapped out to me on what was going to happen, step by step and the
time frame it would take. Of course, as
time went on, I added small details I had left out of the original deal. From
the start he asked exactly how I wanted the lights in the family room and said
what would work and what would not. Then
he explained (again) how the under cabinet lights would be added, third we
talked about the panty lighting. He confirmed his original schedule of less than
two days and he and hi helper went to work. Since this is an older home, some obstacles
were found and meet with in a very professional manner; our Great Room is an
add-on room before we moved in. We remodeled the kitchen in 2010 and at that
time decided not to put under cabinet lighting under two cabinets (big mistake),
more obstacles were met, the pantry went as planned. And last I changed four
light switches that were not in the original plan. At days end we got all
completed under cost and on time. Thank you Your Electricians

We had an electrical circuit that would occasionally stop working for no apparent reason. When It it stopped working again and kept our Christmas lights from turning on, we contacted several companies the day after Christmas and left messages. Tom responded quickly and was able to come out at my convenience on the same day. He traced the problem to a loose wire in an outlet in the hallway that should not even have been part of the circuit. He was very easy to deal with and considering the amount of work needed to isolate the problem, which included going up into the attic, I thought his charges were very reasonable. I would definitely call him again to do any more work needed.

The effort took longer than anticipated because of the construction
behind the drywall, and Tom had to make a second trip to complete the
job. His charge seemed very fair--he did not charge me for the entire time he was there.
