The work went really well. They communicated with us when they did to come by a few days later than originally planned, and talked through our options clearly.

Work went very well on multiple visits (we kept finding new issues with existing fixtures). Very punctual, friendly, and appeared to outline our options thoroughly and fairly.

They called and rescheduled the appointment three times. I guess they're to busy and don't need the $1000+ worth of electrical I want to have done to my house. I'll look for someone else.

They worked with it for a while, and it seemed to be working fine. However, in the past week it started to shut off again. I intend to call them to find out what the problem is because it is apparently not fixed. He suggested to me that the problem may not be solved yet and he told me to call him back if it wasn't working properly. I don't consider him to have done anything wrong. He did everything right and very appropriate, even though we haven't solved the problem yet. I am reasonably confident that we will. He was pretty impressive. There was also a set of florescent under cabinet lights that he repaired, and those are working perfectly. The price was a standard service call. There were two guys that came out and it took an hour give or take.

Tom & Lawrence were prompt, efficient, and professional in their diagnosis and repair of a problem we had with our GFI circuit outlets. They were able to find and fix the problems at a very reasonable price. We will be hiring them again soon to install some new lighting and add a new outlet or two to our bathroom. Highly recommend them for electrical work.

Tom Candland called me back and said, “From your description, this may be something Pepco is responsible for. Call them—they have to come out for free and, if it is their responsibility, they have to fix it for free. If I come out and discover it’s Pepco’s problem, I’ll have to charge you a service fee. So call them, and call us back when you know if Pepco is taking responsibility.” Well, it wasn’t Pepco’s job. Tom and his helper showed up when they said they would, were cheerful and pleasant, did a great job tracing and fixing the problem, and left my kitchen cleaner than they had found it. I was so pleased with their work that I scheduled them to install a very necessary new electric panel and circuit box. Another job well done, and Tom recommended a handyman to do the necessary drywall repairs [another great job done there, too].

They came when they said they would. They talked with me extensively and look at the basement and told me how much room they would need to work on the electrical box. He took a look at the bathroom fan and told me about the work. I called them again, I thought one of my outlets was not working, I have very few outlets in the house, and they came out and told me that it worked fine, and offered to do some additional work as part of the service call and asked for a timer on the outside light. Very honest with me as he told me he could do this, but did not have a timer on him to install. I like the way that they treated me as an elderly person. They made me feel very comfortable.

Contractor (Tom) Arrived on Monday morning to start work, all work was mapped out to me on what was going to happen, step by step and the time frame it would take. Of course, as time went on, I added small details I had left out of the original deal. From the start he asked exactly how I wanted the lights in the family room and said what would work and what would not. Then he explained (again) how the under cabinet lights would be added, third we talked about the panty lighting. He confirmed his original schedule of less than two days and he and hi helper went to work. Since this is an older home, some obstacles were found and meet with in a very professional manner; our Great Room is an add-on room before we moved in. We remodeled the kitchen in 2010 and at that time decided not to put under cabinet lighting under two cabinets (big mistake), more obstacles were met, the pantry went as planned. And last I changed four light switches that were not in the original plan. At days end we got all completed under cost and on time. Thank you Your Electricians

We had an electrical circuit that would occasionally stop working for no apparent reason. When It it stopped working again and kept our Christmas lights from turning on, we contacted several companies the day after Christmas and left messages. Tom responded quickly and was able to come out at my convenience on the same day. He traced the problem to a loose wire in an outlet in the hallway that should not even have been part of the circuit. He was very easy to deal with and considering the amount of work needed to isolate the problem, which included going up into the attic, I thought his charges were very reasonable. I would definitely call him again to do any more work needed.

He was excellent. He arrived on time and finished the job on time. All around they are a good choice for any kind of electrical work.

The effort took longer than anticipated because of the construction behind the drywall, and Tom had to make a second trip to complete the job. His charge seemed very fair--he did not charge me for the entire time he was there.

These guys are awesome! I am in my third home now and over the past 10 years I have used them on many different occasions in all of my previous homes. They are very knowledgable and friendly. I most enjoy that they speak to me and walk me through and explain things in details. I had a weird situation in my new home where the many switches were sizzling and I could smell something funny. They did a check on the wiring and swapped out a few of them. I will continue to use this company. In fact they will be coming back to do check on my other two floors. Excellent work and company, its a small business, they are great, I encourage you to use them and I would definitely recommend to any one for small or large work.

Several of my brand new large kitchen appliances stopped working, so after checking AL and Checkbook I called this company. This was.a few hours before hurricane Sandy was about to hit the area. I left a message and about an hour later Tom called indicating he was in the area and could come intermediately. He was clear about his rates and methods of payment. Upon arrival the first thing he did was take his shoes off. It turns out a connection to a breaker in the main panel was loose and the subpanel where most of the kitchen is powered from was not getting enough juice. He took a couple of meter measurements and diagnosed the problem in a very short time. since he was done in less than the minimum hour he asked me if I wanted him to look at something else before he left. Professional, efficient and courteous.

Service was outstanding. Electrician was punctual, courteous and thorough, including clean-up. Price was fair. Quality of work was excellent. Highly recommend.

I scheduled an appointment to repair attic fans this company installed for previous owner - now very loud and shaking the house. Did not show up for appointment. They called back the next day (after I called them) and did come out for follow up appointment where they investigated the situation, gave estimate, and set up repair appointment. Did not show up for that appointment and ignored my multiple follow up calls.

They've been very good. I really do trust the company. I feel very confident. He's very responsive and gets back to you as soon as he can. They're a small company, so you know who you're working with.

He didn't finish all the work to my satisfaction and he kept promising to come back but he kept not showing up. He went for several months without returning my phone calls. I was trying to get invoices and I couldn't get invoices. There was definitely a problem with this company. He did the work and he did a good job. His price was good but he was difficult to get a response from. Some of the stuff he did was good and he did a lot of work, but one of the items was not correct. He basically stood me up. I might use him again because the price was good. I'm not sure if there was a problem on why he didn't contact me.

Scheduled window of time for estimate, twice. Called Tom just before first estimate to check on exact time. He had forgotten about the estimate, so we rescheduled for a week later (since a holiday weekend was coming up). Called near the end of the second estimate time window, and he never called back. Interesting business plan.
