Wellman had to do lead remediation for 2 1950’s style bathrooms. They completely gutted them and re-built everything in a record-breaking 3 weeks! Very professional, thorough and clean.

Wellman did a fantastic job. Well managed, done on time and we didn't have "cost creep". They provide the installation labor and a project manager. The PM did a great job making sure we were happy and addressing issues directly with the crew to get it fixed or done right. Our bathroom looks like it belongs in a magazine!

They started the project in April and it was done in May. They were great.

I would use them again. I’m thinking of doing my own bathroom. That was the master bathroom and we’re thinking of doing the other bathroom upstairs. They took out the old vanity and they bought an all wood vanity and they put that in along with new mirrors and new faucets. Also, a medicine cabinet and a new beveled mirror. Different workers did different things, like one worker worked on the plumbing and a couple might have worked on the cabinets. The number of workers depended on what needed to be done. There were 3 when they took the vanity out and I guess three to put the countertop on and so sometimes it was just one worker. They were very organized and they were very good. They left the area very clean.

Dwayne and Sharifa Wellman are pros from start to finish.  Our project took no more than a month from our first visit to their showroom to job completion.  Actual time working in the kitchen was just 5 days.  All Wellman workers and subcontractors were highly skilled, prompt, personable and daily cleanup was perfect.  All materials met our expectations.  Both Dwayne and Sharifa were available by phone and email when we had questions during the process. 
There was one small problem with the silgranite sink -- a mistake in ordering it had the drain hole in the wrong place, and sink was installed under the stone counter before we realized it was wrong.  Wellman checked their records and acknowledged their mistake, and the their plumber was able to make changes under the sink to address the situation.  All was handled very well.
Wellman provided us a very detailed estimate for the project and all materials.  There were only very minor changes needed as the job was executed.   The final cost of the job was consistent with the estimate.  No surprises. 
We are very satisfied with our new kitchen and highly recommend Wellman General Contracting.

Overall project went very well and we could not be happier.  The entire team was very professional.  On site team showed up at agreed time every day and completed the work in a timely manner.  A few last minute changes/updates were received positively. The overall quality of the work was excellent.  
Only minor gripe is paying 1/3 down 60 days prior to work beginning and 1/3 at the start of the project.  It's a bit "front end" loaded.

They were wonderful from beginning to end.  We had the help we needed choosing the vanity and top to upgrade our old bathroom yet stay within our budget.  Once the order was placed,  they set up date for installation and the work was completed in the time frame they promised.  Their work is very professional, from beginning to end.  We are recommending them to anyone as we are so satisfied ourselves.

From day one they were on time getting to the job site. Demolition was contained and everything removed completely from the house. Duane made sure everything went well during the process, and Henry and Ricky did a beautiful job. They treated us so well and did everything we asked for. I am very particular about how the work is done and they met all my expectations. We also had them lay our kitchen floor after the bathroom was completed and it is beautiful. Sharifa helped us so much with picking out tile and fixtures for the bathroom and kitchen and never hurried us. She gave us all the time we needed. I highly recommend Wellman. They are awesome.

We chose Wellman from Angie's list, and from the start they were just right for us.  We spent about 9 or 10 hours with Sharrifa Wellman  working on the design of the rooms and choosing tile, paint, fixtures, cabinets, vanity, mirrors, and lights.  She was very helpful and quite knowledgeable about fixtures and bathroom design, and their showroom has many examples from which to choose.  Once we had made all of our choices, Wellman ordered those items, and after a few weeks, the work began. 
Wellman's workers were quite good, and Dwayne Wellman visited frequently to answer questions, resolve problems, and just check up on how things were going.  If we did have a question or problem, Dwayne Wellman was usually available by phone to resolve the problem or answer the question.  They completed the job in about 4 weeks, as promised, and we are delighted with the results.  We made one or two changes while the work was in progress and Wellman was quite responsive to our requests.   
We will use Wellman again to remodel our other bathroom and for other work around the house.

They did a good job of laying down the tiles.

Overall the job was excellent.  Their quality of work and cost was good.  I don't have anything bad to say about them.  Their professionalism and clean up was excellent.  I plan to use them later this summer.

They did a great job -- the bathroom still looks new after a year.  The tile is beautiful, and we came up with a great compromise to allow my husband and me to use the sink at the same time -- put two sinks in!  It is amazing how well this works in our small bathroom.  The contractors came on time, and completed their work when they estimated they would.  
The only criticism is that the caulking has cracked and needs to be replaced.  (I'm sure if I had mentioned this, they would have fixed it.)  Otherwise, the job was first class.  This is the second time we have used Wellman for a complete renovation.  The first time was for the kitchen the year before.  The kitchen still looks beautiful, and I love how it has brightened up our house.  The Wellmans are truly great people, and I recommend their company highly. They have a sense of style and make excellent suggestions.  They stand by their work; integrity is the key with them.

Duane and Sharifa were great to work with.  They are both very professional and ensured that we were satisfied after the job was completed.  There were several issues during the renovation, including messy tile and grout work.  We had to have our tile redone and the grout in the shower needed to be fixed.  The materials in the bath promotion are really cheap so I would suggest either upgrading to better fixtures or getting your own.  They also put our shower rod on at a steep angle and I had to get them to straighten it.  After all of these issues were fixed, the bath looks good.  I will be replacing the fixtures, medicine cabinet, and light  as they are not good quality.

It turned out excellent. I would tell people to use him. I would use him again.

Everything went exceptionally well.  Mr. Wellman and his team was a pleasure to work with. They started when they said they would start and other than the cabinet taking a couple days longer to arrive than Mr. Wellman expected, within reason they completed the job pretty close to their estimated time. Any time there was need to communicate on any issue, they were sure to communicate with us in a timely fashion. We continue to get complements on the refrigerator and the cabinetry matches so well that no one suspects that we have had work done to it.  We also enjoy surround sound in the basement.  We could not be more pleased and highly recommend their work.
