Description of Work: My father and I have used Vallinas & Sons two times. The first time they painted a bedroom and we were very happy with their work. The second time we hired them to do a much larger job. They stripped 30 year old paper thin wallpaper in the foyer and upper hall very quickly and efficiently. They then painted the foyer and upper hallway and it did not take long at all. The owner is very nice and personable. I had made a mistake about the color choice for the foyer and hallway and the owner, Mr. Vallinas, was very understanding and went out of his way to accommodate me. This contractor also patched up severe cracks in the wall and patched and sanded the walls as a prep procedure before painting. Now our house looks brand new. I highly recommend this contractor.

 + -1 moreWe had a tough time scheduling around the rains but the weather finally cooperated and the work started. Just cleaning the entire front of the house was an improvement! At that time, Mr. Vallinas assessed which pieces needed replacing and the 2 man team completed the work later that week. (More rain first.) They had to puzzle in several pieces in different areas on the front facing and underneath wood trim, and they did a fantastic job. They caulked around the window, which was the source of all the decay at the top and bottom of it, and repainted all the trim with 2 coats of good quality exterior. As discussed, the bottom of the pillars were replaced with wood-look vinyl and you truly cannot tell the difference. It all looks new again and we're so pleased with the outcome.
Description of Work: Replaced wood trim on front of house and repainted all trim. This included replacement of lower portions of 2 decorative pillars on the porch which were completely rotted out from insects.

 + -1 moreHe was very neat. Got the work done quickly. Went above and beyond with moving furniture. There was a small problem and he came right back and fixed the problem. The painting work was excellent.
Description of Work: They painted three bed rooms. He also supervised the subs who sanded and refinished wood floors.
