A huge thank you to Dan and his team at The Kitchen & Bath Studio in Gaithersburg for a superb job. I needed a toilet replaced, a tub faucet replaced and a shower spout replaced. The tub faucet wasn't easy and involved removing a piece of tile to access the faucet. Not only did they remove the existing tile without ruining the surrounding tiles, but a new tile was expertly replaced and looks like it was always there. They were friendly, the workmanship was great and they cleaned up before they left. I highly recommend The Kitchen & Bath Studio for all your remodeling needs!

Dan and his team were excellent. They are perfectionists who get the job done right. Dan helped me with ideas for the kitchen and it turned out amazing -- countertops, backsplash, kitchen island and painting. They also did my laundry room. The tile work on the floor is perfect. I would hire again.

The bathroom remodel went perfectly. They are experts at their job. Trustworthy, Punctual, clean, precise, and always do beautiful work. I wouldn’t hesitate to let them remodel my entire house if needed.

I have sold over 600 homes, and overseeing renovation and repair for hundreds of them. I have never encountered a company like this before. They show up when they say they will. They are very courteous and professional. They asked questions. They finished quickly, and did an extraordinary job. They are not the cheapest company on the block, but having gone with the cheapest several times, wasting everyone’s time and money, I will never go that route again. You absolutely get what you pay for, and if you want to avoid pain and spending more in the long run, absolutely hire this company.

It went great! Dan ( the CEO) responded quickly to my request and his employee did a great job. He was quick, clean and safe ( during COVID-19). His price was very reasonable and his employee came back quickly to make an adjustment to a faucet install. I highly recommend The Kitchen and Bath Studio for doing excellent work, being extremely responsive and giving fair prices with no “ nickel and diming” for small extras or adjustments. I can’t say enough positive things about my experience working with Dan and his staff. They remodeled my bathroom 2 years ago and it is beautiful. They are truly a pleasure to work with- trustworthy and professional. And, they show up on time and daily, unlike many contractors.

I hired Kitchen and Bath Studio to do a full remodel of our kitchen after they did a great job on a bathroom remodel for us a couple of years ago. The work turned out very well, and it was completed on time. Dan provides excellent communications and is very responsive to questions. When there were some minor issues, they went above and beyond to resolve them. Dan was also very accommodating and flexible with rescheduling the job as it had originally been scheduled during the height of the COVID situation. I highly recommend them.

I can't say enough good things about The Kitchen and Bath Studio and the owner Dan Lindner. I had 2 bathrooms completely renovated, old lighting removed in the kitchen, new lighting put in the kitchen and living room, a linen closet built, and another closet expanded. Dan and his team were great to work with. From the first contact, Dan was extremely responsive to emails and texts and quickly and patiently answered my many questions. He was helpful with choosing the design elements for the project and paid close attention to detail. The project start had to be delayed due to COVID, but Dan made sure the work got done before I had to move into my new place, and he also made sure the crew worked within the constraints and rules of my condo building including additional rules that were added due to COVID. His crew was very professional and as neat as possible and did a great job cleaning up each day and at the end of the project. The workmanship on the project was excellent. Dan monitored the project work very closely and made sure that I was involved when necessary with any decisions that had to be made while the work was being done. He even helped me with a couple of little extra jobs that came up outside the scope of the main project. I highly recommend Dan and his company. My bathrooms are gorgeous! Even the president of my condo HOA said that Dan and his team were absolutely great to work with. I would definitely use them again if I have any further remodeling needs.

It's not often that you hear that someone still likes their contractor after a large project, and yet, here we are, recommending Dan Lindner and the Kitchen and Bath Studio after TWO large projects! Dan and his team renovated our kitchen two years ago and we were so pleased, we called him again when we were ready to renovate our master bath. Like before, all went so smoothly and Dan was a pleasure to work with. He has a good vision and only wants what will work best and make us the most happy. He listens carefully to what is a priority for us and makes exceeds our expectations. He is very communicative, letting me know in advance if any changes to the schedule need to be made, and why. And he responds to texts/emails immediately. He is a stickler for timelines and sticks to them. And like last time, when the project was completed, Dan checked back in to make sure that every detail had been taken care of and that we were 100% pleased. We are so happy with our new bath and would definitely call Dan again for third project. Highly recommend!!

Dan, the owner, and his various crews were very professional, skilled and responsive. They always showed up when they were supposed to, on time, and actually got the work done more quickly then estimated. The price of the contract was reasonable and it did not change. We are very happy with the new kitchen.

Dan and his crew did an excellent job remodeling our home. This was our third project with kitchen and bath studio. Each project was progressively more involved. The most recent one was a whole house renovation. Dan was able to meet our timeline and finish right on Budget. The quality of work was excellent, which was one main reason for returning. Dan and his crew were always willing to consider an alternative if something came up or was outside their scope of work. We are very pleased with how everything turned out and would highly recommend The kitchen and Bath Studio for your next major renovation.

Dan and his staff did excellent work. Dan helped us through the material selection process. If we had questions about remodeling or material issues, he was prompt and helpful and courteous in responding to us. His staff was punctual and hard working in doing the remodeling work and we were very pleased with the end result. At the end of each work day, they completely cleaned up the area around each bathroom Dan and his staff completed one bathroom remodeling and we were so pleased with that, we had them follow up and do the remodeling of the second bathroom. What was especially pleasing to us was that even though both of our bathroom projects were relatively small, Dan always treated us well and respected that the jobs were important to us (the cost below is the total for the two bathrooms)

This is our third project with The Kitchen and Bath Studio and once again we couldn't be happier. Dan's knowledge of his craft made all the difference in designing our bathroom. The Kitchen and Bath Studio team were simply incredible. From turning around a quote in less than four hours and scheduling a project barely a week out, to completing a herculean amount of high-quality work in a very narrow time window (less than two weeks), we were beyond thrilled with both the work and the circumstances under which it took place. From disaster to delight… Fifteen years ago I bought a house with a leaky master bath located above my dining room. Whenever I showered, there’d be a shower (literally) in the dining room below. I just stopped using the bathroom. A previous owner had tried to fix it, but made it worse, leaving a sloping floor, broken tiles, mismatched materials…who knows what else was going on behind the walls. I dreaded dealing with a contractor because I just dread dealing with contractors (!) and I didn’t know the specific problems. Finally, I faced my fears and got 4 estimates. All were recommendations. When Dan Lindner of The Kitchen & Bath Studio of Gaithersburg came to my house to evaluate the problem, I knew immediately I could work with him. He’d seen disasters before; he knew how to fix this one. He calmly discussed how it could be done and we chatted about what I wanted in a new bathroom. I told him of some basic design features I liked and was really impressed with his proposal of materials. I only made a few changes because he has such great taste and can read his customers’ needs and limitations. When work started, I had the most impressive crew of guys transforming my bathroom. It had to be completely gutted and some areas, like the floor, reworked because of structural issues. These guys were all business, considerate of not making any mess in the house, diligent, hardworking, and so professional. I literally can’t believe my good luck. Looking back, I’m glad I waited 15 years to find such a great company to work with. I’m looking forward to having Dan and his team do my kitchen next. Such a relief. They’re quite the miracle-workers. Remodeling can be so overwhelming…but not with the Kitchen & Bath Studio of Gaithersburg.

Dan and his team were absolutely fabulous! From the planning of our projects to the execution of the work, we could not be more pleased or recommend The Kitchen and Bath Studio more highly. They arrived each day as scheduled and worked straight through on our projects until they were completed to our satisfaction. There were no delays - no days where no one showed up, as we have experienced with other contractors. When we had a question or concern, Dan Lindner (owner) addressed them honestly, quickly and professionally. In all of our dealings with contractors through the 25 years we have owned our home; we have never been as satisfied with the quality of the workmanship, the workers and the entire experience as we have been with The Kitchen and Bath Studio. Even after the jobs were completed, Dan and Jose (VP.operations) helped us out with an unrelated home emergency! We recommend The Kitchen and Bath Studio without reservation.

Short review: AAA We HIGHLY recommend Dan Lindner at KBS (we found him @Angie). If you want to know why, please read on. Long review: We have an 85 yo Cape Cod with add-ons. Our project had two parts - complete removal of oak floor and laminate and total rehab of kitchen. Dan sub-contracted and managed the floor install, and did the kitchen with his crew. My review focuses on the kitchen, but I can say that, after a few awkward experiences, particularly managing transitions and color-matching the stairs, the floor (3/4" solid maple "greige" color) looks very nice indeed: the house feels fresh and light, a big improvement. The kitchen is a 9 ft galley style, so the project was not a "big" one. However, old houses present tricky issues and we had our share of surprises. The kitchen was gutted to the bare walls and sub-floor. Then the new floor installed, electrical/plumbing redone, a window cut thru the brick wall, new cabinets and wall tiling, and everything painted, plus appliances installed. Everything completed to our satisfaction in 3 1/2 weeks. Dan did a great job throughout. He kept things moving, but when we encountered problems did not push ahead, but backed off, re-scheduled, and solved the problems. Time was important but a quality job was more so. Example: the kitchen floor was nicely installed, but I managed to put some nasty scratches into it (maple is softer than oak). Rather than just take up the damaged boards, he completely removed all the new kitchen floor and re-installed. His confidence, reliability and good nature kept me - a nervous first-time rehabber - under control, and he knew when to dial down my suggestions if they went over-board (lighting). He kept me informed throughout the process and replied promptly to my texts. When he said he would fix something, he did. And he did more than that - he even did things we hadn't contracted for, but which needed fixing (damaged french door), and greatly improved the look of the house (as well as saving money for us). Throughout this process there was no "nickle-and-dimeing" for unforeseen problems: the total price did not change. This was a big surprise. My wife now walks into the kitchen, and says, "I love it!" Happy wife. Happy hubby. You'll be happy, too. And now onto re-doing our three bathrooms!

Pretty good experience overall. Very good communications - Dan was extremely responsive and easy to get in touch with. They helped us pick out materials, the cost was reasonable, and the work quality was good. The completed the work in the estimated timeframe. There was a mix up with the accent tile, which we were disappointed about, but it was not their fault (they ordered the correct tile but vendor sent one that was different than shown on website).

I'm not one who typically spends time to review companies, but The Kitchen and Bath Studio is deserving of the best review possible. I met with five contractors that were all highly reviewed on the Internet before deciding on The Kitchen and Bath Studio. The Kitchen and Bath Studio stood out for several reasons: (1) my master bathroom project was important enough for Dan (the owner) to meet with me multiple times before I selected them (other companies just sent a project manager to take measurements and give me a quote); (2) Dan was able to take me to a project he recently completed to see his team's work; (3) he had no problem with e-mailing me the design before I signed anything (other companies required a deposit before they would e-mail renderings); and (4) his pricing was very comparable to the other companies. In the end, I was so pleased with my decision. From the start, Dan directed me to various places to select material and had very good input on design/product selection when I needed it. Dan regularly came by our project to check on the work and ensure that we were happy with the progress. We were living in our house during the renovation and his team did a great job keeping the rest of the house clean throughout the renovation. They laid down drop clothes and mopped any dusty floors at the end of every day that they worked, which was important because we had a toddler crawling around on our floors. I was also very particular when it came to tile selection/cuts (which is why I needed to see their work in person before hiring) and his guys were meticulous. They even swapped out some of the carrara marble hexagon tiles that came in 12"x12" sheets because they were a darker shade of gray than what I preferred. To top it off, his team was very accommodating as they repainted our walls a second time because the first color I chose ended up being too light once it was on our walls. On a side note, I recently had an issue with my kitchen sink (NOT installed by his team) and contacted Dan only to get a good referral for a plumber. The kitchen sink/garbage disposal had nothing to do with them, but within an hour, he scheduled to come over the next morning with one of his guys and they took care of it. This reiterates what great people Dan and his team are! I would hire them over and over again! In fact, I have another project coming up and am glad I don’t need to interview other contractors because The Kitchen and Bath Studio is my go-to contractor for any project going forward.

Can’t tell you how thrilled we are with our NEW kitchen. Took out a wall and doubled the size. Like we have a new home. Every one of the guys that worked in the house were terrific. Courteous and 100% responsive. We cannot recommend Dan and the entire Kitchen and Bath crew enough. Thank you all

The Kitchen and Bath Studio just completed a MAJOR kitchen remodel for me, for a rather large size kitchen (the pictures included do not do it justice). Dan and his crew were amazing, and went beyond what was required for the project. After dealing with Dan and his team, I have no idea why anyone in Maryland would want to use any other company for any of their major home remodeling projects. My husband and I are extremely picky, and we did not have ONE complaint or issue during the entire remodeling project, which involved a complete demolition, redesign, flooring, cabinets, painting, backsplash, appliances, plumbing, electrical, etc. Those that know me will say that it is extremely rare for me not to find some issue during a major project, so I believe that Dan (The Kitchen and Bath Studio) is equivalent to a real Unicorn :). Dan paid attention to details (some of which were major) that NO other kitchen remodeler ever inquired about, and we got five other estimates! He truly cares about the quality of work from his team, is a true perfectionist, and is very patient throughout the entire design process, as I (painfully) changed my mind a number of times on the overall design. His estimate was MUCH more competitive than the others I received; one thing that I noticed when reviewing all the other estimates was that the competitors all used lower-grade materials, while Dan used higher end, better quality products, and still had a better estimate! His entire team is hardworking, completely trustworthy, and extremely kind; because of this, I had no problem leaving my house when they were there during the course of the project. If there was a rating above A+, Dan and his crew would most certainly get it. I will absolutely, without a doubt, use them for any additional projects we have moving forward. I highly recommend The Kitchen and Bath Studio!

We had our hall bathroom and master bathroom completely gutted and remodeled. The owners, Dan and Ray, and their coworkers were very professional and easy to work with during the bathroom remodeling process. They offered many options and ideas before, during, and after each part of the project. They made sure that everything went smoothly and to the utmost satisfaction of their costumer. They finished each project by the projected deadline and followed up to make sure perfection had been achieved. I highly recommend this company for any of your Kitchen and Bath remodeling needs.

I needed to do a complete overhaul of two baths that were new in 1965. Kitchen and Bath Studio was very helpful in planning and estimating the work and spent plenty of time with me in the showroom to select all items that would be installed - tile, fixtures, toilets, countertops, cabinets, sinks, lighting fixtures, paint to complement counters and tile, etc. The crew was excellent and precise in their work, and the results are lovely!
