I called them on Tuesday and the woman on the phone was very friendly and was able to schedule me with a stylist on Saturday of the same week. I was going to a bridal shower Sunday and needed my hair done. She scheduled me with junior stylist, Julia. I was a bit worried with a junior stylist so I asked her does that mean she is in training? I said that I want an experienced stylist. This is my first time at their salon and did not want to experiment with a novice stylist. She assured me that junior stylist only means that she has less floor service time at their salon than other stylists who have been there longer. You apparently have to work certain number of years at their salon before becoming a Stylist status. I remembered reading on Yelp reviews that Julia has had good reviews there so I went ahead took the schedule and stylist. I arrived as they opened (9AM which is unusual for a hair salon, most opens at 10AM) and immediately I was greeted by the staff as I walked in. The salon looked very well organized and clean. They offered me coffee (I brought my own beverage) and asked me to put on a smock. Julia introduced herself and she was very pleasant and friendly. She listened to my needs and desires and made a few suggestions. The coloring went smoothly and Mary did a good job washing my hair as well as a quick head massage. The outcome was perfect and I loved my color, cut and style. Then Julia took me to the wax room to get my eyebrow and lip waxed. Everything went well and I would definitely come back again. I loved the fact that it is only a few minutes from my home and that the price was very reasonable.

I've been going to Shear Reflections for the past four years. Their staff is friendly and Elaine always does my hair. She asks what I want and then we discuss what she's going to do. My last visit two weeks ago, she put in highlights and even did my eyebrows. I love the color and haircut and have gotten many compliments.

I called on short notice desperate for a haircut for my limp, fine hair. They got me in later that day with a stylist who knew just what to do...I was very pleased with the caring attitude, friendliness, promptness, and results. It's not a fancy place but bustling, friendly, and affordable.

They are great. The atmosphere and people are very nice and accommodating.
