Their 2 technicians replaced the 12 volt, tested all other batteries and replaced twenty five 3 volt lithium batteries around the house (windows, etc.). I called a local battery store but they didn't have enough in stock immediately, plus the cost savings was not enough to waste the time until they replenished their stock. Maybe next time, I'll consider DIY to save some money for the window alarm batteries. However, this time I was pleased with the service. When you have an alarm system, you don't want it down temporarily for parts. The cost was $222 for materials and the rest for labor. I received a 20% discount as a monitoring customer and I negotiated a little over the price per battery. They also waited about a half hour for me to get home due to some confusion over the appointment time and their status of work for the day. They did not charge me for this wait time.

Mike was great. He spent close to 4 hours rewiring the ADT system so that I could use Satellite instead. He did not charge a penny for the rewiring! He was incredibly patient when explaining how the alarm system worked. He went into detail regarding the features and had me practice with him to make sure I understood.
