Overall, they are dishonest, disorganized, and arrogant. AVOID!!! They will tell you that your rate is locked in but it isn't really. They slip a form in the stack for you to sign initially (with no explanation) which only locks your rate and closing costs in for 30 days. If the process is delayed which is highly likely in the current appraisal and underwriting environment, their commission could go down from the lender and then they will dump a huge bill on you. For me, they sprang $8000 in new closing costs only a few days before closing after assuring me that everything was ok leading up that point. They were very disorganized and reactive and did not keep close track of my loan in underwriting. In the end, they effectively drove my loan "off a cliff" and I lost my rate. I was also out the $400 for the appraisal. Rami was my primary contact and he refused to admit any wrongdoing at the end. In fact, he tried to make it seem like it was all my fault even though I was a model applicant and always responded quickly, accurately, and thoroughly to every request (which confirmed all the information that was provided upfront). He also refused to correct the problem or cover any damages. Finding a broker is too large of a decision to trust these guys. As an aside, he also has a surprisingly poor understanding of taxes or he is just manipulative. In calculating breakeven, he will tout the tax benefits of points and then skip the tax loss from paying less monthly interest.
